Wow, that's got to be the coolest army I've seen on here in a while!

While the infantry sure are great, what really blew me away was the APC, not only is it the perfect size its also modular! I would love to see two or three of these storming into battle.

Thank you, and may I say, I love your work. Especially the aircraft in the picture in the quoted section. I may have to "borrow" aspects of that design (it reminds me of the Orcas from Command and Conquer). I'll also likely be looking to your tank design work for inspiration when I get to that point.

As for an alliance: such a venture would be more than welcome at some future date.
james+burgundy wrote:The flame dudes are sweet love that body they have. The whole army is WOW
The Flame Soldiers are indeed snappy dressers. Unfortunately, field testing is still inconclusive at this point: we've yet to see the soldiers do anything other than have critical failures and explode. Perhaps it's simply a lack of familiarity with the weapons.

As for their uniforms, those were on the short list for the final full army uniforms, but it was decided that they weren't "basic" enough for general basic infantry. They'll likely pop up every once in a while on special (but only basic-skilled) troops.

Well, whenever we get them into the field for real action, I'll let you know. The APCs do work extremely well - they can even fit a full five-man squad completely within the rear compartment (though it's a bit cramped), allowing for full-squad deployment with a dedicated driver (or four-man deployment with an attached Officer). The Chopper can actually do the same, though again, it gets a bit cramped.

Thank you.

The Chopper was a late addition, but it's quickly finding a special place within my heart. The alternate rigging (with the mounted turret seat) looks to be quite effective, once we get the bugs worked out with weight and power consumption. While it's little more than brainstorming and design at this point, there is talk of mass-production of the Choppers (at least 1 or 2 more units), with at least one to be converted to a dedicated "gunship" - replacing all of the troop compartment with a twin set of mounted turrets, one on each side.

Peach equality? Expect to be exterminated by the Assyrian Star Empire.

*shakes head* It's sad to see such fervent racism from an otherwise advanced civilization. That sort of nonsense has no place within civilized society.

As for the military challenge, we shall see. For one, I have -no- idea where your "star empire" is located (other than, say, in space), so in all likelihood we shall never meet on the field of battle. And for two, once we get the satellite arrays weaponized, we shall see who would be "exterminated."
james+burgundy wrote:Did he speak of equal rights?
Always. Equal rights, founded on firm principles of egalitarianism, are the cornerstone of the ABU's ideological foundation.

Racist mobs of brick-buffoons will not stand in our way. After all, that's who we had to kill in order to take control of our nation in the first place.

If there is one thing I hate more then a peach lover it is a person who thinks yellows and peaches are equal  recant or face the punishment.

Ah, "hate." Does it know no bounds?

The ABU isn't going to step into whatever backwards-thinking part of the world you must be from (for now), so really, it's of no concern to you what our national policies.

But yes, it has been scientifically proven that all Minifigs, whether they be Brown, Peach, Yellow, or any other color (blue, green, red, etc), are otherwise the same. We even all wear the same sized clothes!

In addition - and perhaps more worrisome - it seems that, perhaps simply as a result of their prevalence in the world, Yellow Minifigs account for by-far the largest majority of Dimmies.

Science doesn't lie, friend. (Editor's Note: Unless it contradicts me. Then science is a liar and a tramp!)

Every time you destroy the leetness of an army with peaches, a bothan dies. Please think of the bothans.

Seriously now, they really just don't look right.

It would not be wise to mock the ASE. Otherwise you'll have one of these breathing down your neck.

We in the ABU choose -not- to believe in "space ships," therefore yours is obviously make-believe, and hardly a threat. (In addition, having seen it forced into retreat here by a somewhat ragtag operation, the "space ship"'s terrifying potential has been seriously reduced.)

Well, I have been trying to purge peachies from my armies, but with that in mind, I think I'll just have to include more of them!
