Yeah, the red leg gets off often. But do you have any suggestions about the army?

I have been thinking about the Phoenixes.

The first idea is that I make them in LDD and if there are not all the parts I need(or right- coloured), I'm going to buy them from bricklink or somewhere. I have almost finished the first version of the head(it's very hard)

The second Idea was to buy a few griffins(buckbeaks) and give them OT dragon wings OR I could paint them dark red. But I probably use them as close relatives to the Phoenixes and mounts to the Clansmen, as its hart to photograph them breathing fire and they're too small.

Briklink will cost a bundle for Griffons. There was I recall a cool looking Lego built Griffon around here somewhere. Should be easy enough to do in red and make more phoenix looking too. It was a new dude and I can't recall the name. Others might.

Maybe you could have some medieval style guys and have them be like super soldiers? Kind of like Valkyries or something, called down from the ancestors to fight for the cause.

Yes, now I remember him too(thx for the link Dan)

Well, I was thinking a phoenix which can open it beak and shut it (for brikwarsy reasons :D )

This is my process:

"Naked"beaks of different colours(which one or the more older phoenix the darker/lighter?

With feathers and eyes(notice - the topfeathers are in eternal fire)

From the front they look a bit dull but it doesn't bother me.

For me, things are going quite well, but I must get the jaws and head and neck more sturdier togehter(the neck is not there yet). Do they look like parrots?

Oh, and I think I'm going to use the griffons(harrypotterones) with dragonwings as "horses" and Im going to put Rev. Sylvanus styled "horsebardings" for them.

Well, the future Blood Phoenix Clansmen are quite medieval, only with guns, and their leaders even more. I'm going to use KK 2:s Vladek's sword as "Fireblades" for the clanleaders which first cut a wound and then the wound bursts into flames!!!This can also be used on friendly units because hot metal stops bleeding :rtfm:
