... Maybe do something different for the walls? You know like SNOT the thing up or something. The straight-vertical walls are kind-of boring. I'm obviously not one to talk if you look at my light torpedo frigate but this thing is supposed to be a hover tank right? Here are some other hover tanks for inspiration...

This one is my ultimate favourite. It's similar to yours in terms of propulsion but a bit smaller.

This is mostly in response to Natalya - but it does apply to everyone else as well - at work tonight I took it upon myself to scribble some of my future plans for the Orpheus.

It is meant to be a Super Hover Death Tank - with its emphasis on Weapons and Speed to hunt down and destroy slower Super Death Tanks. With this - it is meant to carry a large number of support troops into battle, deploy 20 minifigures (2 full squads) into the field and then continue its Hunter/killer operations.

Yes, it is still a flying box - but the general idea is to make the engines chunkier and more armored, and to add slanted armour plates across the areas which currently look bloxxy - and then greeble the fuck out of these plates by adding vents and grenade launchers.

I am also thinking of adding underside plates to give the sides more of an angled appearance in line with a hover tank - rather than the current "flying brick" configuration.

So . . . here are my boredom inspired scribbles - I hope they are understandable to everyone else.

Yeah - a Ram mounted chainsaw. A Fucking Ram Mounted Chainsaw.

Another thing you could do is add some curved wedge pieces to the top to break up the boxy appearance. I'd also suggest redesigning the front to use SNOT instead of normal bricks.

A SIBAS battlesuit and an engineer - along with a P.A.V.L MK-II (as featured in border patrol).

I have a challenge for the people of the foum before I attempt to build a brik version of that gun - would it be possible for someone to downsize it while still maintaining the rough idea?

I ask this because the gun itself is far too large, and I want it to be man portable rather than a deployable weapon - much kudos goes to whoever can pull it off!
