You say that like it's a bad thing. The Hind comes to mind with me, which is what the Republic Gunships were based off of. Also, the fact that it's built around a giant gatling gun reminds of me another real-life awesome aircraft, the A-10.

The Trattorian empire is at a crossroads now: which will be more effective at countering this hatredcopter: a super-tank or a armored core with an appropriately sized rpg???

Fighter aircraft are the appropriate counter for helicopters. Or anything with guided missiles. Although due to the HATREDCOPTER'S hugeness, it'll be hard to miss with just about any weapon.

duh, but thats what the energy shields on the rotors are for.

its got orange trans dishes on the rotors, makes a pair of large spinning energy shields. thats how it can use the rotors as an offensive weapon without destroying itself. that and its how i explain not putting OTC on the leading edges of the rotors.
