What's wrong with the bridge? Given that the Emperor is basically a scaled-up Monarch, and the Emperor MK II bridge is based off the Monarch MK IV bridge you built, I'm not sure what the issue would be.

It's not all bad, I just shrunk it down because why would would you want your command deck so damn high where your foes can shoot that shit?

Fair point, but I don't think dropping it a brick lower would help much anyway. And in this case, I like the taller bridge, since it helps distinguish the Emperor from the Monarch.

Greetings Scythian Board of Naval Affairs,

I am Foreman Ramsworth of the Vamtarius Shipyards, subsidiary of Kentaurus Industrial. Above are the images of the requested upgrades to the Tyrant class Carrier in the form of upgraded (and increased) firepower. We have added 4 Anti-Matter Projectors to either side of the vessel. 32 Missile Silos have also been added, and the bridge has been more heavily armored. While somewhat minor, we hope that these upgrades may give this vessel an advantage over Scythia's foes.

I'm with Colette. i think you're going in the right direction, but it needs a little bit of refinement.

Also, an upgraded ship wouldn't really fall under KINGUNDERTHEMOUNTAIN, which is more like the Scythian X-files.

After the deployment of the Deity Star Juggernaut, the venerable Overlord dreadnought fell out of favor with Scythian high command. In recent months, however, the decision to mothball the Overlord has come under fire, as now matter how powerful the Deity might be, there simply aren't enough of them to go around. Many fleets have been left lacking the firepower provided by super-capital warships, a situation that the deployment of the Edinburough L.A.D. and other light dreadnoughts has only exacerbated.

To deal with the situation, the Overlord MK II was created. It exchange's many of the MK I's heavy laser turrets for additional weaponry, such as 4 Super-Heavy Anti-Matter Projector Cannons, 2 Cruiser grade Heavy Anti-Matter Projectors, 4 anti matter missile pods, and a number of AA laser turrets, the Overlord MK II has enough weaponry to take on any opponent. It's engine core has also been redesigned, as the engine systems on the MK I proved too slow to keep pace with more modern designs.

I need Lxf files for everything you have adapted, so that I cam adapt them again and then formerly adopt them as the modernised designs.

I will however, not be adopting the tyrant mk-2, as it does look far too busy and suffers from the same issue you had with your monarch adaptations Vami, you have missiles directly placed to be blown up by main weapons due to close proximity.

I'm not a fan of ships that blow themselves the fuck up the moment they open fire on the enemy.

While the Tyrant carrier has been highly successful in its original role, the recent proliferation of heavily armed and armored carriers such as the Britannian Prestatyn and Frangerian Heimdallr (not to mention the Immortal Assault Carrier, which arguably started the trend), the Tyrant has started to show some weaknesses when forced to engage enemy warships directly. While not cause to remove the Tyrant from service, the Tyrant's struggle has highlighted the need for a Scythian Assault Carrier, a role once filled by the Empress. Like many designs from the pre-immortal period, the Empress hasn't aged well, with many of its systems now woefully obsolete.

Refitted with a new, larger weapons array, including three anti-matter projectors, 4 light anti-matter projectors, and laser AA turrets, the Empress MK II can go toe to toe with anything short of a battleship, and it's refitted engine systems give it a substantial speed advantage over it rivals. It's launch bays have also been upgraded to modern standards, with forcefield barriers replacing the armored hatches, and the Empress's greater size lets it haul more than twice as many fighters as the Tyrant.

The Emperor MK-III.

Updated, some guns moved around, other upgraded - and the hull made slightly longer to accommodate that much extra gun and maintain the aesthetic of the design. Seen alongside a Monarch MK-V

The Overlord MK-III.

Updated, now with TWIN Deity style Anti-Matter Projector Cannon Turrets, more hull improvements and the Despot style cannons have been moved to side-mountings and upgraded as per this Dreadnoughts standards.

With Battlegrinders improvements added into the hull design, I took the ship apart and basically slid the tyrant hull inside the Empress like some kind of sick and twisted porno and then put it back together, AND IT FUCKING WORKED. Look at that piece of ass. MRMPH. Its fucking sexy.

Wow. Those revisions all look very cool, and it looks like you fixed all the little details I was having trouble with (like adding the shields onto the Emperor). Though I might do a little more work on the Empress, adding the Tyrant hull to the midsection was a brilliant idea, but it looks a little bit too obviously like thats what was done.
