Guess so.
I'll review the scores I gave tomorrow; I'm pooped.

Aye, if you like. But after today, any scores will be locked in. Hopefully, that won't mean "upon posting" because, you know, they'll all already be posted.

Hope Motor is okay. I'll give him today (the 19th) to get his scores in (since I already extended the deadline by a week and also to account for timezones) before I call for a replacement judge.

Thanks to all participants for your entries into this year's Blarney Build.
This was an extraordinary success with a total of 34 entries by 13 unique participants. Congratulations to everyone for a job well done. I didn't expect the turnout to be quite so large but I'm glad of it and I hope everyone had a good time. I'm glad I decided to keep Boasting as a bonus, tiebreaker category as there didn't seem to be too many attempts this time around at it. I'll keep it for next year, though, because some entries did use it (or a form of storytelling, in any case) and I think it increases the potential for fun. I was also surprised, given this forum and month, that there were so few Drunken entries. I'm not mad about it though; perhaps there will be more interest in those kinds of shenanigans later. On a more positive note, everyone who participated this year did an extraordinary job on their builds. There weren't any builds scored near, at, or below the average score of 45. Everything was more than 50, I believe. So, well done. Thanks also to our judges for tackling the large number of entries. I hope that this year's contest and its many badass entries will inspire more builds in the immediate future and I look forward to next year's buildoff. Without further ado, I announce the winner of this year's contest:

next time we need to tone down the turnout on the drunken madness entries, there were just too many. Congrats Duerer!

Can we get a "I participated badge" that is like a little league soccer trophy that all the kids get who participated? I like to think I am a special snow flake.Quantumsurfer wrote:Oh, btw, badges inbound when I can get to them.
