I'm happy to talk broadly, but I really don't like creation by committee. I'd love to talk about what's new, what the new specs are, and how it goes about them, though!zeekhotep wrote:I would love to post on the progress of the MFZ rule-set and/or have an open discussion about the proposed rule changes on my blog if you're into it.

That would be sweet. This is your show. I did not intend for the "open discussion" to be public creationism, just a public wetting of the communal pallet.Joshua A.C. I'd only expect public creationism if you were in Iowa.
I'm totally game! Just give me a headsup when you want to do it!

Zeekhotep - I've seen your mechs and stuff on brickshelf; truly awesome stuff. I didn't know who you were until you said yourself, but I really like the mechs. Didn't know you had a mechaton blog, I'll have to check it out.

Ah! I knew it! That mechaton design could be of only one person. I saw your stuff firstly on MOCpages and then discovered your blog, nice stuff dude!zeekhotep wrote:Why yes,(blink blink, blush) I am. I also am so exited about the release of this rule-set, that I'm ready to wet myself!
My avatar is a pic of one of my crusader class mechs. You can see many more shots of them in my brickshelf gallery here.
Which reminds me, I built the basic Mechaton frame a while back.

We could just form a council and control the forum like we control the media (non-Jews don't read that, please thank you).

SPROING!zeekhotep wrote:mecha kits
Seriously though, this is quite, quite awesome. I'm sure I can throw together some bucks by March to give you in exchange for your most fine mecha game, under the condition that you slip some cross-promotion for Brikwars in the last page of the rulebook or something like that.
Hopefully we'll clear all the penises out of the forum by then.

Kit design and assembly, combined with instruction design, coupled with distribution of 3D physical objects turns out to be a big deal. There's a reason all those 3rd party Lego sets out there cost so much.
So if you'll want one, start savin' yer pennies! I can only promise that we'll have the prices as low as we can stand.
