The enemy of my enemy is my friend. We shall turn this to our advantage. Of course, if you need assistance and can forgo your stubborn pride long enough to bend the knee to the Emperor then I'm sure the Immortals can help you in your plight. Mwah-hahahaha! Mwah-hahahaha! Mwah-hahahaha!

The only problem is when the enemy of your enemy is a bitch and is also your enemy... The MAOX mercenary coalition hasnt find any trace of individuals of the Shraag specie on their data records. As the FELC leader suggested, more information and visual files are demanded!

The Tyronian Empire hasn't files on this new species. Is there a known orgin? Even a known galaxy? Intel is required to combat this enemy. Is there even a known religon to which the Von Haust system is holy?

Ego Records State A Religious Group in our sector does take pilgramiges to this sector, however information shows they do not posess anywhere near the tech of these Shraag. Information put forward about this race will hence be filed in the irrelevant secion

The following information is classified - all information released is on a "Per Diem" to Scythian ally races.

From what little we can tell, the Shraag are definitely a non mini-fig race - and they appear to be some form of pan-stellar organism.

Image

This, as far as we can tell, Is a Shraag - it is insectiod in origin, with four legs and two arms. They are incredibly fast, and capable of shredding minifigs with ease in a close quarters fight.

Image

From what little we can glean, they don't operate on an individual basis, they each exist as a synapse within some form of sentient, species-wide conciousness. Unlike hive creatures encountered before, with masses of individuals forming a "whole" - this creature is on organism spread across many bodies. In battle they operate perfectly, treating its soldiers like we would toe or fingernails, disposable for its greater goals.

They arm themselves exclusively with Meson Bolt weaponry - a rail gun combined with some form of trans-dimensional device that fires its rails through a temporary hole in space-time. The rail then emerges inside its target, causing it to explode from the inside-out.

As of yet, no vehicles have been encountered other than their battleship class spacecraft.

As of this moment however, we have no idea as to their origins, intentions or any other information for the long term, but the loss of Von Haust was a blow for the developing outer colonies. One we must make sure is never repeated.

The Immortal Empire has some experience in hunting down and destroying Insectoid Xenomorphs, they are usually tenacious vicious creatures without pity and we take great pleasure in the extermination of any insectoid genome species we find. We would even consider helping an enemy in war to fight for mutual survival IF we were given shared access to all information concerning the new species. Who knows it could bring about an end to hostilities.

Heroism is not the ability to kick ass. It is the willingness to use this ability on any poor bastard who so much as looks at you funny.

I actually had both models hovering around in my "Old" LDD folder, and after watching the film a few nights ago, decided to put them both to use.

Rather than the brainless mass of death idea with the bugs from S.T, I was going for a more controlled, refined type of bug - these things have no "brain" bug, as their conciousness is spread across their entire species (using "I" when referring to itself, rather than "We" or "Us") - unlike the bugs from S.T, these things can, and will use technology, and will communicate with other species - if only to kill them.

As for flying and acid types? Everything about the Shraag is a "One suit fits all" dealie - why bother making (or evolving) an air force, when they had no aerial enemies to fight with where they came from, the same goes for tanks or fast transport. Their battleships are their trump-card attack, defence and transport unit - and don't mistake them for being biological - they are pure Shraag forged ABS steel. As for their weapons - how best to defeat shields and armour, than by bypassing them entirely? and their defence systems are capable of bending light itself (impossible by traditional physics) to curve Scythian Lasers - not one hit was scored against them.

Don't mistake them for the Tyranids, Zerg or the Bugs from elsewhere (yes, despite my reference humour) these things are one mind, with one goal - what that is . . . I will leave up to you.

Upon receiving the Intel file, the Shraag data file was sent into iceblock lockdown. All projects concerning the Shraag immediately receive a Black Op label and will be conducted on Iino III.

Further data is being collected.

Great aside, Shadow. :D
