The Grand Marsheling

In the 214th year of the Second Kingdom, 32 year in the reign of King Nicoli, a marshaling of the lords and companies was called for. The largest gathering of the armies of Man since the fall of the First Kingdom.

Image
King Nicoli Soren, second of his name, and the crown prince, David, inspect the troops.

Image
The Lords gathered.

Image
Another angle for posterity's sake.

Image
The Company of The Dragon, who we have seen recently, the only addition is 5 hardened archers from Drakierkegaard.

Image
The formation of red company heavy infantry known as 'The Anvil'. the Lordling is commanding from the back with his squire.

Image
The Lions, led by Lord Leijon.

Image
The Red Company's siege tower, which I had made during the first photographing session, several months ago. I just forgot to take pics of it, repeatedly.

Image
The Domesticated Greatarcher in his natural habitat.

Image
The Dragonslayer is only there to pose, his spear charges are not effective when weighed down by a siege engine.

Image
The Royal House Soren, and it's cadet house, Soren of Darkharbor bring their combined troops.

Image
Cyrus the Wolf shows his face, with the light riders (katana) and the heavy riders (lance and spear).

Image
The spear troops, I have still not found those other 5 lost troops, so I made some irregulars to fill in the space.

Image
Harbor Guard heavy infantry.

Image
The ever illusive Threshecutioners, Protectors of the Royal Family since time unknowable. These Sickle wielding Beasts are the elite of the elite, but stay mainly in the Sorenberg.

Image
Cape shot (these took for-fuckin-ever to get here)

Image
The King's chariot.

Image
The Golden Princess, second daughter of the king, and her fiancee, James Garnet.

Image
Boom! Capeshot

Image
The Lord's Calvary, consisting of, King Lloyd of the island nation of Thorolund, the Red Baron, Lord Garnet, commander of the Calvary, Lord Empyrean, and Duke Crystoph, Lord of the 3 Cryports, Crydee, Crysaac, and Crystoph.

Image
Yet another cape shot, I sure was proud of these.

Image
The Lord's infantry. Led by Bishop Havel the Rock, these lords could not supply a major force of troops for the King, so they send themselves or their knights to find glory and honor in combat.

Image
Due to most of the expensive black powder weaponry was broken during the battle of the shitty statues, Amadeus Von Brag has expanded his view into siege technology.

Image
Lady Ladder and her consorts follow him.

Image
As well as a deployable catapult and an ammo stockpile.

That is all my expanded human armies, my expanded Ork and Hollow armies will be shown after I have had a long break and a couple cold drinks.

:boss:

All of these figs are extremely clean, fitting and neat, you'd almost feel bad about destroying them in battle. Almost. Those Threshecutioners for one, are a very nice-looking, original unit.

Oh and before I forget: TaunTaun cavalry :ftw:

Thanks! I felt that I needed to post the sum of all parts, and also introduce the King's House better. I think I got those accomplished.
EDIT: I looked up Soren the builder, and he was not the inspiration, it is a fairly common name, and it fit the "cool name" category well enough.

Nice stuff, but I must ask: House Soren? Like Soren the builder?

Hopefully the Ork forces are imposing enough to put fear in the hearts of these badass minifigs.

You sir, have a fuckton of awesome figs.

But seriously, how the fuck are you keeping all of them in the condition they are in, because they look like they're fresh from the box?

I want to know where you got those awesome capes, and if I can get them with Kingdoms lion and dragon knights print!

Anyhow, awesome force, Havel the Rock's force and the Dragon company are my favorites.

Thanks! I have no idea how they stay clean, due to the constantly shedding dog in the house, but some of the infantry is recently bought from the Kingdom chess set.
I bought the capes from MMCB capes in Australia, which is why they took so fucking long to get here, but they do not have lion or dragon designs. If they did I surely would have purchased them. They do have crown, templar, falcon, and starwars logos though.

MMCB is quality stuff. Fig in my avatar is wearing one of their tattered capes. Really pleased with the effect. Lot of clever designs to be found there. And your knights look super attractive in them, by the way.

There's so much osum in this thread! I'd list the things I really liked or loved... but I'd just be listing everything!

The Stud God smiles down upon thee; well played sir... well played indeed.

Thanks! I should probably update this soon, but until I finish my forum battle, and find the damned usb cable, it seems unlikely.
