Sparrow Attack Helicopter

Hello Guys. Here's a little attack helicopter helicopter based on the AH-64 Apache. I designed it a while ago at minifig scale and now I've remade it with new pieces and scaled it down to make it comparable to my light tank [which I've retroactively renamed the Death Hamster and classified as an armored vehicle rather than a tank].

Sparrow
Size 6 Attack Helicopter

armor: 1d10
move: 14"
Machine Gun (size 1)
x4 Rockets (size 2)

With it's ability to deploy a significant amount of damage at once and it's low survivability, pilots are advised to make sure they get the first attack on an important target and then retreat back to base to reload.

You've only posted two creations, and already I love your style. Like Silent said, this thing is adorable and really cool at the same time.

Your builds are clean and solid, the same goes for your photography, which helps out alot on their display! Excellently done.

I like this army so far, the vehicles are compact but well made. Awesome work.

This is by far one of the smallest and cleanest designed helicopters I have ever seen. May I request a parts breakdown like you did with the death hamster?

Eh, tail looks a bit fragile for my taste...
How's it lock into the main body, and have you tried using a single plate for the tail spine?

Looking more at the construction the tail stability could easily be increased by adding another 4L stud through the tail after the first, if it's unstable in the first place.

Originally I just had it connected like this and the tail would always fall off

so I connected it like this and it's pretty stable, I can pick it up by the tail and swing it around as much as you would want to for playability.

The plates on top of the tail are nine studs combined, so it could be a 1x6 and a 1x3 but I don't think it'd make much difference. It'd be better if it had 1x8 tiles on the sides, but I was limited to having two 1x4 tiles if I wanted to get everything I needed in one bricklink order.
