KING METHHOUSE: I hope you all brought clean underwear.

Next: The King's Army

There are a bunch of Rainbowist factions to go through here, so I'll be making a separate post for each in this thread over the course of the next couple of days.

I like how Methouse(conjoined h)'s twin brother is holding a pike behind him, they ran out of extras, so they started using the stunt doubles to fill the ranks.

He's a body double, to confuse assassins.

Excellent. I'm looking forward to what comes next.

KING METHHOUSE THE LION
Player: Tzan

Rainbow Power: Rulership



KING METHHOUSE: Obviously, my forces are the strongest and most important. I'll command the siege engines from the top of the Rainbow Siege Tower, which is packed to the brim with barrels of gunpowder and sappers carrying open flames. Nothing can go wrong!

Unit: KING METHHOUSE
Leader: can give 1 Instant Benny per turn to any unit in his line of sight. Can create additional Bennies by Scapegoating units within line of sight; Scapegoats immediately switch to an enemy team.

If the Leader is killed, the King's army becomes Disorganized (Each turn, an enemy player can pick one unit to forget its orders completely) and all Knights' armies become Enemies to each other.

KING METHHOUSE: I'll have our most powerful artifact, the OP Shield, which provides complete immunity against all forms of damage. It's mounted on the Rainbow Siege Tower, rendering it and myself invulnerable.

SIR RAYHO: OP artifacts are so cool!




KING METHHOUSE: As always, I'll have the fanatically loyal Rainbow Guard to protect me as well.




KING METHHOUSE: On the right flank, catapults and arbalests manned by capable Gunners, with mounted Scouts for targeting support and Mechanics ready with the ammunition cart.




KING METHHOUSE: On the left flank, the same, but these catapults have man-grinders on the front. Got to make dog food for the Dogdu, you know!

SIR DOGDU THE DOG
Player: Arkbrik
Focus: Skirmishers
Rainbow Power: Strategy and Skill



KING METHHOUSE: As usual, the Dogdu will take command of the royal ground forces. Unfortunately, Sir Dogdu is indisposed, so they won't be enjoying the benefits of his rainbow strategic genius until he's finished investigating Lord Vladtron's plans.




KING METHHOUSE: Sir Dogdu is stuck in a cage dangling above an active volcanic crater until Lord Vladtron has time to reveal his secret plans in an evil monologue. This should be any moment now; Lord Vladtron is a stickler for tradition.

Unit: SIR DOGDU (captured)
Heroic Cliche: Action Strategist (ex.: Rorschach, Sherlock Holmes, Batman)

Rainbow Wisdom: Sir Dogdu is supernaturally clever, with a Skill of 1d12. If Sir Dogdu is free, all units under Dogdu command have their Skill raised to 1d8 as if in a Squad commanded by an Officer.

KING METHHOUSE: While we're waiting for him to get back, the royal ground forces are two squads of axemen, one of spearmen, one of crossbowmen, and one of heavy cavalry. Dogdu military dog skirmishers will provide harrying and screening to keep enemies locked down and away from the rest of our armies.

Half Mind: Submissive to Dogdu units; can be sent to attack, and will return for new orders
Bite: Use:2 Damage:1d4

SIR RAYHO THE HAWK
Player: Killer Karetsu aoffan23
Focus: Mobile ranged units
Rainbow Power: Speed



KING METHHOUSE: Sir Rayho, once Lord Vladtron reveals his plan, your job will be using your rainbow speed to rescue Sir Dogdu from that lava cage.

Unit: SIR RAYHO
Heroic Cliche: Speedster (ex.: Achilles, Usain Bolt, Kid Flash)

Rainbow Speed: Sir Rayho is supernaturally fast, and can take one extra Movement or Action every turn. All Rayho units may Sprint for free with no Action cost.

KING METHHOUSE: You should try to time it so that you catch him right as the Shadow Knights are dropping him into the lava. It's way more dramatic that way.




KING METHHOUSE: Rayho forces are set up to provide mobile ranged support. You have two gryphon riders, two horse-mounted mini-catapults, two crossbow squads, one heavy infantry squad...

SIR RAYHO: Awesome!

KING METHHOUSE: ... and your mom.

SIR RAYHO: Aw, man.

Unit: RAYHO'S MOM
Supernatural Cliche: Wind Witch (ex.: Captain Planet's Linka, Airbenders) 3d8

Rayho's Mom can channel her d8s through her Lightning Staff strikes (treat as Long-Ranged Weapon) or through her Blue Falcon familiar (Flying Vermin). She loses one of the d8s if the Falcon is killed, and one if she loses her Lightning Staff.

You can't impeach kings. Anyway making him peach would just make things even worse.
