A couple of days after watching Mad Max: Fury Road, I bought the art book off Amazon on an impulse (good read, would recommend). There was one particular picture of the War Rig group rolling out at the beginning that really caught my eye, and I decided to build all of the vehicles in that group.


I have yet to see the movie again, so I'm not sure exactly what I'm missing. I do know I'm missing one or two bikes and the war Rig itself (which I may or may not end up building).

Brown hot rod

This is the one I as most eager to build. It's not nearly as good as this, but I'm relatively satisfied with it. I do want to rework the engine area, though.


Crew of one driver and one gunner, and armed with a size 2 machine gun.

Silver Cruiser


Not entirely sure how accurate this one is, especially the second set of headlights and the rear end. I think I like it better than the brown one though.


Crew of three: one driver, one lancer, and one dart gunner.




Black Hog


Crew of one rider and one lancer. There's not much to it but it just looks like a lot of fun to field in a battle.




I will definitely add the second bike, but I can't guarantee that I'll build the War Rig. I did take some creative license with the War Boys/Girls, but

I think you did a really good job of capturing the essence of the movie in your vehicles and war boys/girls. Here's to hoping you make the war rig too.
