The Britannian League

Image
Spoiler
Show
The Saffron colonies are often considered the greatest holdings of the Brittanian League. Only the bravery of the soldiers stationed there keeps the Celestial Kingdom from reclaiming them in the name of their Emperor.
Image

Minifigs:

Image

The Ruler of the Britannian Empire, Queen Victoria V. She is with her companion, the head of the Royal Engineers, Lady Isabella Graves, and the Praetorian Guard.
Spoiler
Show
Queen Victoria V:

While her extremely long life has given rise to rumors of her secretly being an immortal, the truth is she just refuses to die.

Lady Isabella Graves:

Inventor. Socialite. Military strategist. Consort to the queen. If the things said openly about Lady Graves can get a person killed, imagine what is said behind closed doors.

The Praetorian Guard:

"My life is in your hands, commander."

"No, my Queen. It is in our swords, and in our shields."
Image

From left to right: Lord Oliver Cromwell, the high military commander of the League, Admiral Ambrose Crowe of the Red Sector, Crowe's right-hand man, Lieutenant Angus MacDonald, and two military aides.
Spoiler
Show
Lord Oliver Cromwell:

Use any and all resources at your disposal to insure a productive and profitable future of the Britannian League and her colonies.

Admiral Ambrose Crowe:

The Admiral of the Red Sector has no tolerance for Incompetence.

Lieutenant Angus MacDonald

A talented torturer, Lietenant MacDonald can make a man scream like a bagpipe. A terrible musician, Lieutenant MacDonald can make a bagpipe scream like a man.

Military Aides

Conspicuously scurrying around military camps, yet conspicuously absent from the battlefield.
Image

The Black Watch Grenadier Guard, led by a Black Watch Officer.
Spoiler
Show
The Black Watch:

As the units with the thankless task of breaking enemy fortifications, the Black Watch eschews traditional Britannian infantry formations in favor of giving each individual soldier relative autonomy.

Black Watch Officer:

"These tunnels are too dark for those pansies in blue. Let's light them up."
Image

The Red Beret Aeronauts . basically just flying shock troopers.
Spoiler
Show
Death flies on obnoxiously bright wings.
Image

Naval crew, or field gunners, or whatever. I haven'd decided.

Auxiliary troops?
Spoiler
Show
"Well someone's got to keep the bloody thing running!"
Image

Babe Ruthless, professional Cricketeer. Not sure why he gets his own pic.
Spoiler
Show
Babe Ruthless:

The legendary competition for the hand of Princess Sheila la Britannia between Babe Ruthless and rival player Henry Langshire came to a bloody end in front of millions of screaming fans.
Image

Scouts
Spoiler
Show
Scout:

Stomping around in a hostile land, with heavy artillery behind you. The most Britannian pasttime.
Image

Officers. The one on the left is standard Britannian military, while the one on the right is in the colonial forces.
Spoiler
Show
Britannian Officer:

The chivalrous man duels his opponents. The smart man has his men gun them down.
Image

Line Infantry. Once again, standard military on the left, with colonial infantry on the right.
Spoiler
Show
Line Infantry:

"PRESENT! AIM! FIRE!"
Vehicles

Image

The Spectre

Image
Spoiler
Show
Rugged. Resilient. Luxurious. With the Howland Spectre, you get what you pay for.
Image

The only real changes are that I swapped some off-color parts out for blue ones. I guess I gave it a name, and came up with a new company.

Image

The exposed engine on a luxury car. Dieselpunk as fuck.

Image

Got that flag of the Saffron Colonies.

Image

Image

The Spectre has an interior of sorts.

Image

The Howland Spectre's 10-cylinder Y-block engine is capable of going from zero to blurry in 3.5 seconds.

Selkie Interceptor.

Image
Spoiler
Show
The scream of the aether impellers and the dull slap of the shock cannons announce the arrival of Britannia's most advanced fighter.
Image

Literally the only things that changed are the name and the photo quality.

Image

Image

It's less than four bricks tall.

Image

The pilot has no interior controls at all, and it sucks that I can't change that.

Excalibur

Image

Cool guys don't look at supernovas.
Spoiler
Show
Natives in the Saffron Colonies protested the deployment of Excalibur units on police patrols. These protests were broken up.
Image

Large radiators? Smokestacks? Dieselpunk.

Image

The story is that the Excalibur unit seen in "Raid on Factory X" was the prototype, while these improved builds are the final models.

Image

Thats it for Britannia. What faction do you guys want next?

Polish Confederation: The Order of Dobrzyn

Image
Spoiler
Show
"And when I gazed upon the works of our Creator I saw a beautiful garden, radiant in its perfection. Yet then I saw weeds, and knew I was destined to pull them."
Image

Minifigs:

Image

Chapter leader Gorliwiec Bartnik, and the cleric Neckbeardicus Maximus.
Spoiler
Show
Gorliwiec Bartnik:

"Gorliwiec Bartnik. In his language, it means "zealot". In ours, it means "Shoot on sight."" -Ordensmeister Kraft, Bavarian Inquisition

Neckbeardicus Maximus:

Neckbeardicus' clerical magic and the fact that most members of the Order wear sealed helmets are the only reason they tolerate his presence.
Image

Order Sentinels, the warriors of Dobrzyn, wear more elaborate armor to standard Polish infantry.
Spoiler
Show
Sentinel:

"HERETICS ELIMINATED" -order transmission.
Image

Some horses and two Battle Nuns, the heavy infantry of the Order.
Spoiler
Show
Horse:

"I will work harder."

Battle Nun:

No, they don't talk to Neckbeardicus.

Vehicle

Naleśnik Gun Wagon:

Image
Spoiler
Show
The low profile and the fact that the gun only points forwards makes a lot more sense when you realize that the Order never retreats.
Image

Image

The Naleśnik is based of Duerer's Magyar tank, but I swapped the short treads out for wheels. I definitely prefer the wheels.

Image

Honestly the only thing that changed since the last time I showed these guys is the pilot's torso.

Zupponn wrote:What factions do you have?
United Systems Alliance, The 45th Union, Immortal Empire, VOL, Eldorria, Bavaria, Space Mafia, Trattoria, Venice, Seven Assasins, Boro'shan Imperium. Polonians are this post.

So, what to do next?

United Systems Alliance, Celestial Kingdom, Eldorria, and the Seven Assasins, Boro'shan Imperium(although neither of these are true factions).

If you want to get Pedantic I created the Allied Nations way way back, but that was only to use white and blue parts.

The assasins are just figs, and Boro'shan probably won't amount to any more than one build.

Just slap a sticker on the trans-blue and say that the pilot has touchscreen controls.

I'd love to see Eldorria, because there aren't enough green factions on this forum.

Meritocratic Republic of Trattoria: Mechanized Operations Division

Image
Spoiler
Show
"Battlefield mapping at ninety-eight percent. LAND WARRIOR is online. Prepare to engage."
Image

Minifigs

Image

Legislator Wood and Colonel Annalise Tonk.
Spoiler
Show
Legislator Wood:

Dr. Trinetta Wood, once a biologist, is now the Senior Legislator of the 43rd district, and calls the Yokomo Habitation Ring her home.

Colonel Tonk:

"I dare not venture how you managed to accrue those millions in obligations."

-Dr. Miyako
Image

Trattorian Operators.
Spoiler
Show
While standard Trattorian Infantry wears heavier armor, Operators' armor boasts a formidable array of combat electronics.
Drones

Hoplite Combat Drones

Image
Spoiler
Show
The Hoplite's carbine fires bolts of hard-light that excel at disintegrating soft targets, such as enemy combatants or striking workers.
Senate Guard Drones

Image
Spoiler
Show
The hard-light plumes add an additional 2.3 million Trattorian Dollars to the cost of each individual unit.
Recon Drones

Image
Spoiler
Show
The first phase of any operation by the Mechanized Division is to deploy swarms of recon drones.
Image

Pinkotech impulse drives keep the drones mobile.

Image

Armed variants exist, but are rarely deployed.

Hadron Ultra-Heavy Assault Drone.

Image
Spoiler
Show
With a few blood-curdling exceptions, the Hadron is the largest combat drone employed by the Trattorian Armed Forces. It's main cannon is almost certainly capable of engaging spacecraft.
Image

While the intimidating amount of firepower implies it's main function is a sledgehammer, the Hadron's primarily serves as a local command and analytics node in the Trattorian drone battle network.

Image

Four massive impulse drives make the Hadron surprisingly mobile.

Image

Brake lights? Turn Signals? Exhaust vents? Who knows?

Image

On the turret are two "Fox Ear" active lidar scanners. I have no clue what that means. You can also see the intakes used to cool the internal processors, as well as the rear machine gun.

Image

Naturally, the main turret can rotate, and the cannon can elevate. So can the forward machine guns.

Image

The Hadron is capable of transporting two Recon Drones.

Image

For the thrifty commander, a wheeled variant is available.

I love how you can just nail what I try to go for with the Trattorians. I especially like how you're developing the drone theme. That hovertank is an almost exact match for a concept I was thinking of building.
