Our first contender is an all time classic, a revisioned M2A1 Jackson main battle tank (in other universes, it is known as the American M1A1 Abrams with TUSK).

The next vehicle, although currently a prototype, is an light reconnaissance vehicle (based off of the French Panhard VBL).

Stay tuned; more armoured loveliness to come in the future!

can't wait to see the recon vehicle in combat! It also seems that the "Jackson" seems to be heavily lacking in secondary armament. Also is that a USA guy sticking out of the hatch?

Every tank you build is an incredible and over the top piece of work! It's ridiculous.

Style -- 4
Substance -- 8
Photography -- 7

As I've said before not a real big fan of the more modern and realistic builds as they are not really creative in my opinion as they have already been built so its nothing really new but don't get me wrong they do look pretty damn good and as always your photography is great.

I think that opinion is fine, but I think it is unfair if it factors in to how you score. If I didn't like steam-punk builds as much, it should effect wether or not a build is a good build just because I am not a fan of the aesthetic. If it didn't affect your scoring, than that is great, just some food for thought.

This is just my opinion it does not effect the score I gave. However the reason the style score is a bit lower is because I don't see muh creativity in building something from real life as it's not something that has not been seen and the concept itself seems a bit underwhelming having a tank with simply one gun when other vehicles in the brikverse are loaded to the brim with weaponry and he last reason is I can't give everything a perfect score now can I?

You can show creativity through technique though. Making something completely realistic out of LEGO is hard also. However, I am not a judge so you do you!

Bann, the creativity of building something based on a real-life vehicle is in the technique and attention to detail. Anyone can make an "Abrams" model, but not everyone can do it well. If you searched up "lego abrams Ebay", you would find a Lego Abrams for sale that has six road wheels per side, odd dimensions and a few other peculiarities (when compared to the real vehicle). The challenge for those of us that is our builds on existing vehicles is in our attention to detail, and the techniques we invent and engage to make the model indistinguishable from the source material.

All in all, while I didn't create the vehicle in my imagination, I successfully translated a handful of photos into a physical model that looks and functions the same as it's counterpart. That in itself is a creative process, which many have found difficult to master.

That is simply technique the definition of creativity is "the use of the imagination or original ideas, especially in the production of an artistic work" now that being said the Abrams is not an original design its simply to put it bluntly a recreation and thats it not to say that you have not done an amazing job you have done an outstanding job without parallel but the thing is to me this is not creative and by definition its not creative its not original its a recreation of a modern MBT. However that being said the creativity that you have put into it is how you have built it rather than the idea of the creation itself. (That falls under the Substance category of the judging "Substance-- Relating to the mechanics of the build, the viability and efficiency of its construction, the actual depth of the piece and the balance between what it conveys and the materials it uses to convey it.")

Now as for being able to go to google and find another Abrams recreation i can do so easily with a realistic version from brickmania that does not simply have six road wheels per side and look like a peculiar abomination its rather a relatively realistic representation that is represented in two different types. Its not hard at all (in my experience for me) to create something realistically from photos its actually rather the opposite but don't get me wrong you have put alot of hard work into this build but in my experience (this may not be true for others) its easier to build something from a photo than anything else.

That is a terribly done tank and to think its being sold for that much. Yeah not to say anything bad about your building skills those are amazing it just lacks shenanigans and the likes that make it feel brikwarsy. But the build itself is great!
