The Avenger main battle tanks have been a staple in the Briktopian military ever since they were introduced in G.R. 2012. Now it's G.R. 2016, i am on holidays and it's time for an update!
So here is the Avenger MBT Mk. II:







Note the twin guns pointing foward below the drivers window.



Besides the maingun this tank has two machine guns installed as well as a small mortar.
Different weapon systems can be attached to the hardpoints.

This tank is one of the best I have seen since Valiants latest. The only problem I have with it is the glass. That would be a weakspot that people would target, wouldnt it??

The glass is a must. All my vehicles have light blue transparent windshields and such. Also it is the only resemblance towards the older tank model and i wanted a little bit of continuity. I go for the looks first and if that hurts realism i don't care. This is Brikwars after all. If i wanted to be a model builder i'd frequent any other Lego forum, not this one.
If an opponet in a game wanted to target the glass i'd argue that it is made out of special material (ABS!) and just as well armored as any other elements. Also in my experience people always go for things like cutting/disabling the main gun or destroying the tracks links. So in the worst case shattering the glass would be just another option to stop the tank in a totally unrealistic but hilarious way.

By shooting glass I meant that then you could shoot inside, but nevermind its a wicked tank!

Very nice! I'd maybe add a bit of black to the turret though.

Does the Avenger use a gun or a direct-fire launcher?

It could simply look good, but it's also Beer-powered.
