I have gotten back into the building mood and can't decide between a spaceship for the P.L.E or a Boat.

This is the Boat I was going to copy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Independence_(LCS-2)

Obviously a spaceship would be far better for brikwarsing in, but that boat would be awesome to build.

I need the forums help on this!

Ok, I put a spaceboat option in the poll.

I was about to cast a vote for a boat because this place lacks some proper naval vehicles, but now I'm totally sold to the spaceboat idea.

Well I wanted o build a large spaceship to make my faction closer to the superpower level, but on second thoughts, I reckon a space ship that could land on water would be awesome!

The Yamato/Argo is just a spaceship that is styled like a boat, so no need to feel like there is any difference. Interestingly enough though the Yamato can float on water, and even travel under it.



If you want any inspiration, the SSDB has a whole section on Starblazers/Yamato. A good 7 years ago I used those designs to inspire my SHIP, so you'll likely find it useful. IIRC Natalya also used the Yamato as inspiration for the SONKS/KNOSS, so there is certainly some pedigree behind those designs.
