Seeking to legitimize the Trion Empire as a galactik power once more, Kaiser Alec II set the research and development division on a new project. Seeking to fill the gaps in both the "large carrier" and "super tank" department, the Jotun super hover death tank was created.



The Jotun (pronounced "YO-tunn") is often deployed from low orbit by TE ships, where it uses its four powerful antigrav generators to float safely to the ground. It is incapable of flight on it's own, but it does hover a few feet off the ground.



The tank has two side sponsons, each bearing a laser cannon and a pair of miniguns.


Its primary weapon is a colossal size-8 railgun on it's main turret.







One of the primary features of the Jotun, however, is it's massive carrying capacity. The tank can hold a large compliment of infantry, or even a squadron of hoverbikes with room to spare.

I like it! This has inspired me to build an IM death tank with similar troop deploying capabilities!

Just smooth things out. Add greebling. With all the SHDTs coming out, I need to make one. A walker, Methinks...

Change of plan. It kinda evolved into an armoured train.

Normally I hate SHDTs, because they have no resemblance to tanks whatsoever, but this actually looks both cool and functional as a tank.

Mm mm, love me some sponsons, gotta get me a tank with some sponsons .

But I got a feeling that it could use more dakka. Lots of empty space.
