Valiant's Mechanised Antics! [Updated 5/14/2017]

Hallo and welcome! :D

Since I do not always have the time for a photography shoot, I thought I'd start up a thread where I can post updates and WIP's of my MSO and various armoured creations.

For those who are not as acquainted with my... taste, I am absolutely affixed with armoured vehicles (it's something of a relationship  ). Recently, I have also branched into MSOs (Magical Soap Operas) as a union of compelling photographs and enthralling dialogue.
Outside of BrikWars circles, I go by my whoo-mann name of Connor Querin. Should yea click upon the link, yea shall find photographs of armour, sky and ABS ( :rtfm: Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene)

Cheers!

New locations, new minifigures - plus, a bag filled with parts for more Leopard 2's for export (yes, you can buy the Leopard 2 if you'd like!).

Not your standard infantryman...

Current WIP is the LAV III/ Stryker family of vehicles - yes, the US utilises Canadian 8x8s in their armed forces :D

The Canadian National Vimy Memorial. This model was built in commemoration of one hundred years since the fight at Vimy Ridge in France during World War One, 1917.
The model was built over a five year timespan by two members (Chris Gray and John Koob) of my local LUG - NALUG (Northern Alberta Lego Users Group). Commissioned by the government of Alberta and kept under strict NDA, the memorial consists of over 150 000 bricks, and was designed with the aid of the original blueprints for the monument.
And no, there is no Kragle whatsoever in this build :D

Image

The memorial will be on display in the Edmonton Federal Building until September of 2017. Enter through the West doors - the model is 75 meters ahead, to the right of the security desk.

That's all for now!

Cheers,

Valiant

Aah, good to see you back, I have a question, what are those helmets of the infantrymen like? I'd also like to make a very small faction of guys with them.

I got quite a few and they're great! They can seem a bit bulky sometimes, but they also look cool without the visors

All are official Lego - it's a mixture of Space Police, Star Wars, and random minifigure series body armour.

Thank you! So it's even purist. The infantry men looks awesome, good use of color to match the helmets etc. Oh, and ofcourse, your vehicles are the best :)
