Since I practically rebooted my setting and brought it over to a new galaxy, I think it might be time to do a brand new faction index, as well. Anything from my previous canon not listed here is either being reworked or abandoned entirely.

IRON ANGELS

The Iron Angels are a monastic order dedicated to reclaiming and preserving ancient technology, as well as using the knowledge obtained to forge new weapons. Even though most of their members hail from Orlogrodian worlds, they are not affiliated with the Kingdom and only pledge allegiance to the Great Creator.


Forgefather Grzegorz is the leader of the Iron Angels and feared by both his fellow brethren and the enemies of the order. About half of his organic body has been destroyed in battle and replaced with cybernetic limbs including a pair of wings made of black steel. With his hammer he can smash any obstacle on his path, especially when charging from mid-air.


Chaplains provide spiritual guidance for order paladins during and outside of battle. Their fire maces are difficult to wield, yet deal some tremendous damage in their skilful hands.



Paladins are known for being both skilled warriors and exquisite weaponsmiths. In battle they wield either a bolt thrower loaded with lava bolts or a bolt pistol paired with an OTC.

UNITED LABOURERS' FRONT

The United Labourers' Front (ULF) originated from a trade union demanding better working conditions at the mineral mines of the Fortune Aerospace Corporation (FAC). As the FAC responded with violent strike breaking campaigns, the union grew more militant and went into open revolt. Although the ULF managed to liberate several mining colonies since its foundation, the FAC is more than determined to extinguish their influence by any means necessary.


Most ULF Rebels have modified their old laser drills into rifles, proving to be quite effective against the heavy armour of FAC marines.


Other rebels managed to secure Hazard Suits originally intended for use in low-oxygen environments. Surprisingly, they also happen to withstand quite some firepower, as well.


Saboteurs double as mechanics and demolition experts for the ULF. Though their fusion cutters are quite deadly by themselves, each saboteur comes with more than enough explosives to crater an entire mining complex.


Francis Carpenter is the leader of the ULF and an accomplished physicist. His expertise allowed him to convert former FAC mining gear into potent weaponry for rebellion. To this day he wields the prototype railgun, that served as a basis for most ULF weaponry, as his personal weapon.


Once considered a lousy miner by her former supervisors, Katarzyna "Kate" Durer has now become their very nightmare. Put into solitary confinement for "unruly behaviour", she was freed by ULF rebels and given a new purpose in life, which is breaking the bones of any FAC sycophants with her Quake Hammer.
