new tank

Post by ArchyX74 » Sat Nov 13, 2021 4:02 pm

For the first time in the history of ever, I decided to build something that wasn't a mech for once. I decided to build a tank. This is the result.

I am so damn proud of this tank.

Introducing, the two-man crew of this tank: The solo twins.
Image
Hank on the right drives the tank while Frank on the left operates the main cannon and top mounted grenade launcher.

here they are poking through the open hatches, ready for action.
Image
No there isn't any room for them to sit inside the tank unfortunately. Would've made it too big for the tracks I had on hand.

Here we see Frank sending off a high explosive payload to an unlucky minifig off screen.
Image
R.I.L.P (rest in lego pieces), random guy off screen.

Now he's firing grenades at the poor fucker, as if he hadn't had enough already!
Image
Just don't ask what he puts in them. You really don't wanna know.

And last but not least, we see the tank glaring angrily at this hardhat fellow.
Image
This is the last thing you wanna see. A tank glaring very angrily at you.

And that's all for now folks! A nice little light tank that I'm very proud of, for obvious reasons. It's my first tank! Look forward to seeing it in a battle report/forum battle at some point down the line.

On a scale of 1-to-tank, this is a solid entry for 'tank'. Good work!

As a frequent builder of tanks, I find this one extraordinary. I really enjoy the use of a mixed colour scheme, and how you replicated the proportions (gun size etc) of a modern tank. Wicked build my guy!
