[HPH] SRG Type-100 Workbee

Post by ninja_bait » Thu Sep 29, 2022 12:38 pm

Been a while since I've posted content on the forum. Had a WIP laying around and was able to get it down to 99 bricks, so I might as well post it for the contest.

From Space Repair Garage Customs: The Type-100 Workbee
The Type-100 Workbee is the most basic in a series of spacecraft built by the Space Repair Garage to serve utility roles. It is a single-seat craft designed for modularity and cheap production. The Workbee is used for roles such as tugboat duty, installing or removing parts from larger spacecraft, and more, depending on the tools installed.

Here is the part breakdown:

And here is the Stud.io file confirming the part count. If you want to get persnickety, I did use a single custom light brick to make effects on the presentation shots.

Geeeeeeeez, so many good builds!

Style: 10 That is a great little build! I love it, and I'm more a castle/pirate theme person!

Substance: 9 Lots of interesting detail, clearly a good design, but it feels like it is missing... something... not sure what though.

Photos: 10 Good pics, background, context, this has it all!

Story: 9 Context is good. We like context.

It's missing like another 50 bricks  I'll eventually circle back to this and flesh it out way more.

This is awesome, I love the work put into the photos. I can envision a swarm of these at work on a massive ship or space station. Easily able to use this core frame and add different tools or color schemes to indicate different job types.
