This is a new faction I came up with for Mayhem. The idea is that each soldier is a survivor of their own little apocalypse, and each of them are a good deal more experienced than the cannon fodder you mostly see, but they are much rarer.
Here's one of the 304th Legion Squads exploring a nearby planet, Yardiga, under cover of rainstorm. The 304th is Panlysia's special operations division, trained in expert stealth missions and survivability.
The group sets up shop on some strange ruins.
Here's the mecha, the PL-33 Gravesite. Named such from the parts mainly being salvage from ruins of the attack, the Gravesite acts as a metaphor (the Panlysians love those) of the fallen standing right beside you. Gravesites typically have active personalities, and are considered just as much a part of the team as any member. Despite being made of spare parts, the good 'ol Panlysian sensibility still makes them look sexy. This guy is actually very poseable, and his gun's mag actually detaches. In addition, this guy is super easy to make--he's almost a true alt build of the Speed Champions Pagani Utopia!
Close up of the recon. Panlysian scouts and snipers actually use classic ballistic bolt-actions so that they're undetectable by traditional sensors--their weapons don't emit any kind of radiation. This also helps them save on equipment costs.
The jet trooper. Panlysian Aerial Corps members are typically overconfident assholes who die too quick by throwing themselves into the fire, so ones that last long enough to get a promotion to 304th are highly trained and equipped with insane battle instincts.
The heavy. I think this is my favorite fig from the bunch--he really jacks up the "survivor" aesthetic, and i think its a clever use of parts. His mag detaches too!
The commander. I like to think of her as the survivor of some kind of chemical attack, her face permanently turned white from the event (it's an Asajj Ventress head), and she has to wear a special visor to protect her skin. As you can see, her laser sword doesn't have a handle--that's because Panlysian laser swords are projected from the gloves, same as the shield.
The commander moves down to the lower level to investigate, while the recon watches her back from afar.
