After going full steampunk last year, I decided to try out another theme I´ve wanted to do long time: Cyberpunk / Retrowave.
So here we go, hope you enjoy it.

It´s always busy in the streets of this cyberpunk city. People doing all kinds of stuff, walking around...



...chatting about the new PS12 or the Xbox infinite, drinking coffee...



...get a bowl of sushi or just heading to work. But the real fun begins when it gets dark in...





NEON CITY


The atmosphere of the streets at night hits totally different.



It´s still busy everywhere, and the colourful lights of the city guide the people around.



Some say the sushi tastes better at night...



Some people start to glow up when it gets dark...



...while some prefer the shadows.



In short, it´s always worth to plan a visit to NEON CITY




BONUS PICS - Behind The Scenes Mess






The Boast:
4 weeks (2 of which I was sick) of planning, layout and gathering parts, lots of curse words an trial-and-errors to put 150 LED lamps in this project. Not as perfect as I´d imagined it, but still proud of the result. Will surely keep this for a while and maybe refine some things later.

Okay, the buildings might look a bit plain in the daytime, but the crazy lighting is amazing! I'm super jealous right now.

I'm waiting for a night war here again with the same light plays.

This is going to be a bit tricky to score, but I'll try to balance the day/night scores.

Style: 7.5 There's something missing in the daytime version, but you nailed the nighttime look. The big bubble face sign in particular is a great choice.
Substance: 7 The walls are a little plain in the day, but that plays into the night effect. Also the effort that went into the wiring can't be ignored.
Photography: 9 You picked some great angles.
Boast: 8 I like the boldness and experimentation here. Looking forward to more projects like this!
