Octan Corporation is considered one of the most influential and powerful "grey" factions in the brikverse. Nobody truly knows the depth and scope of the corporations' activities - not even its own executives. All we know is that they. Really. Like. Oil.
To tremendously scale up their oil-gathering activities, the Octadome was taken into production. These self-sustaining spherical factoryships, with sizes ranging from a soccer field to a small planet, allowed Octan to explore and expand simultaneously, giving them a significant competitive advantage.
After decades of expansion, parts of the octafleet reached the very edges of the brikverse, rendering further exploration useless. Thus, some octadomes were parked indefinitely in the outer-rim, establishing hubs of octan activities on these remote worlds.
You would expect a small army of Octan employees hard at work at these sites to keep the oil refineries running. But on this particular location, the workday seems to have ended prematurely - where have all the mechaniks and engineers gone off to?
And what brings our friends from Studland here?
Perhaps it has something to do with the activities inside the stranded octadome. What will we find inside?

The Magik 8-Ball Poker Club
This particular octadome has been remodelled as a casino. It now forms the sprawling centerpiece of an Octan industrial colony.
If you're an Octan employee, you'll get significant tax benefits if you receive your salary in the form of poker chips.
