The Boxer Infantry Support Mech was the result of the Automata Empire's program to create a small unit capable of assisting infantry against armored vehicles, enemy mechs, hardsuits/exo-skeletons, and fortified positions. Essentially a walking box of armor, the aptly-named Boxer is more than capable of absorbing plenty of punishment. As for the Boxer's laser cannon, I believe it's better to just show you some footage from its weapon trials.

"Are you almost finished with the prep?"

"Yes, my task is complete." "Good! Now hurry to the viewing station so we can begin the test."
A moment later.

"The motor function test is going well so far."


"Motor function is good. Moving it into position for the firing test now."

"This captured two-bit clanker stands no chance against the Empire's superior design." "Fire when ready."

Hmm, little boxy mecha that reminds me a little of a gonk droid.

Style: 8 It is another hardsuit/robot/mecha thing, but definitely a different design. Props for using that car hood piece as a robot body.

Substance: 7 It is another hardsuit/robot/mecha thing. A little different, decent parts use and some creativeness there, but in the end it is another hardsuit/robot/mecha thing. I do like the idea that you gave it some context though.

Photography: 8 Lots of photos, nice little vingette and good use of context props for the photos. Little on the dark side though, hard to make out details in some of them.

Story: 8 Yep, that is a story with context. Not a really in-depth one, but it is present and conveys some sense of belonging for this little boxy build.

I LOOOOVE this lil guy, its badass!! Super cool legs and great job getting the greebles in under the parts count.
