Yuri Ksovlov might be the most unfortunate living creature in the Azure Galaxy, if not the Brikverse as a whole. Haunted by a seemingly never-ending string of bad luck, he witnessed his home planet being consumed by nuclear fire, his dreams of intergalactic socialism utterly shattered, only to end up being betrayed by his academic peers who trapped his head in a jar artificially keeping his brain alive to further prolong his perpetual suffering. Only by freak accident was Yuri rescued from his tormentors by a group of ULF rebels, who accepted him among their ranks once he managed to distinguish himself with his vast scientific knowledge. Though Ksovlov exposed crucial flaws within FAC technology, thus giving the sorely underpowered ULF an edge in combat, the Front’s leaders began to question his mental stability given his prior history.

In battle Yuri commands a custom battle suit salvaged from a decommissioned power lifter armed with a quake hammer, a shoulder-mounted laser drill, as well as a shovel shield for hauling heavier obstacles at the enemy.

You do not appear to be mistaken, no.

Style: 8 Not the worst idea for a mecha suit robot thingy, and the head-in-a-jaw is different. Don't often see a combat mech with a shovel-hand, either. Transformers vibes here.

Substance: 6 I like the concept, but certain parts of this look, um, kind of awkward? You had room to play with, given the short parts list, and it feels like some of those joints could be beefed up a little for a better look.

Photography: 8 Decent number of photos here, some good surrounding context in them, good focus. Unusual texture on that table you're using? Looks like wooden corderoy?

Story: 9 There is a story. Very sad. Much pathos. Some mad science-y stuff. Also a shovel-hand.
