With a crew of two pilots and an expansive crew bay, the Nyctopter is Skion's transport and close support gunship.



Armed with two crew guns, a forward maching gun, dual wing-mounted rocket pods, and a set of indirect missiles on the top, it is a fearsome implement of war.



Capable of dizzying speeds both in and out of atmosphere, the Nyctopter is a load-bearing tool in Skion's war plans. It is also covered by an array of magikal countermeasures to ensure peak durability.

This is an interesting little build and I rather like it. Not normally my thing, I'm more of a castle/pirate person myself, but I do appreciate a nice vehicle build like this.

Style: 9 Seriously major NPU here. Love the way you shaped the VTOL housings with the grills on the top. I assume you can angle them different ways to represent it while it is moving? Looks like it could use some small stabilizer wings on the outside of those housings, but it looks like a VTOL vehicle.

Substance: 8 Very nice build here. Looks like it will fit Skion troopers (though how many I'm not sure - would have been nice to have a pic with minifigures using it)

Theme: 6 It is a vehicle. There's not much happening otherwise. It fits with Skion army and color theme, but that's about it.

Presentation: 5 Okay, I like the photo angles, but the table and such kind of detracts from the model itself. Maybe use a bigger sheet of paper next time? Likewise, a view with some Skion troopers using or prepping it would have given it a little more actiony feel? At the moment, it just feels like 'here is a thing I made.'

Style - 9. Excellent parts usage, very impressive angles on a compact build. Very skilful creation!
Substance - 7. No scenery, just a vehicle build. The build itself is great but it isn’t really “scenic”.
Theme - 6. Stationary, monochromatic build. Unfortunately I’d be looking for more action and scenery in this contest.

Presentation - 7. Clear pictures from multiple angles, but that should be the standard. The unprepared background prevents top scoring.
