The Capricorn

This massive warship is all that remains of the Slindonian fleet. In it's spacious cargo bay it carries what is left of the once great Slindonian 919th fighter corps. Although the
Capricorn relies mostly on the 919th to guard it, it also holds a set of laser cannons and top of the line shielding to boot. It now scours the galaxy in search of the mysterious Nemesis, the being responsible for the destruction of Slindod XIX and countless other worlds.
And here's a shot of the 919th, which is made up of four bombers, six fighters, and six interceptors.
Not to shabby for my first
real attempt at Brikspace, eh? The carrier itself was actually a last minute addition, and most of my focus was spent on the bombers and fighters. But after I saw the windshield piece I figured I just had to try making a big ship and I'm certainly pleased with the end result. Now I've just got to build a few frigates for this thing to shoot at...
Expect to see this in a brikwar this weekend.

Coolness. So, that's a Flagship? And you're running a BrikSpace game this weekend! I look forward to the report, friend.

I thought it looked good from the first few pictures, but then the last picture with the rest of the fleet really puts its epic scale into perspective.
The colour scheme is interesting, and you pulled off some good SNOT.

It is a nice build, Ecabob, good job.

I'm glad you guys like it.
When I started building it it was going to be a carrier, but the end result definitely looks more like a flagship.
And while it does use a bunch of cool SNOT and has a killer color scheme it is actually only held together by a handful of studs and is extremely fragile. In reality there's a huge gap on the belly of the ship and the front laser cannons are held on by sheer friction alone.
Luckily for me though, none of that really matters when you're blasting other ships to smithereens.

That's the spirit.

Well, the design looks great, but I fear just two laser cannons defending such a large ship kind of leaves it under-gunned. I mean, I don't really do micro-scale, but looking from its size to the smaller ship size, I would suspect more firepower would be in order.

Like he said, originally a Carrier. Under my rules a Carrier comes with two Small weapons and a metric butt-ton of cargo space, used for Fighters/Bombers.
It's understandably undergunned.

You do have a point, but you also have to take size into proportion. While those guns may look tiny compared to the rest of the ship, in this scale they are actually bigger than my bombers.

These ships would look awesome if you added a background using photoshop.

I love the SNOT(studs not on top) design, and it's sleekness too! And I agree with Gunney, because that kind of a ship has to have more guns

by the way, where did you get that transparent windshield piece?

I do not normally follow microscale creations, but the designs and colour scheme are extremely fetching.

I looked at the first photo and I immediately thought it was a MF fighter. Then I looked better and it wasn't. Then I saw the last picture and realised how massive and awesome it is.

Flagship? I thought it was a carrier.
