Vergilius Raskolnikov and his subjects

Post by Arkbrik » Sun Apr 18, 2010 4:19 am

A new army is heading for conquest, glory and bloodshed in the BrikWars universe.

This is the supreme leader, Vergilius Raskolnikov. He was an unassuming literature snob for many years, until his midlife crisis set in one second before half his skull was destroyed in a carwash accident.

When Vergilius woke up at the surgery table, his life saved by a bionik implant, he was filled with delusions of grandeur. He vowed to conquer the universe or destroy it in the attempt.

Image

Many minifigs looking for a direction in life were inspired by Vergilius' energetic megalomania. Soon he had plenty of soldiers under his command. These grunts are the main body of the army, tasked with shooting things and dying horribly.

This is the A-Squad, a unit armed for close combat and transported in a truck to get there fast.

A small tank with a big gun.

This jet fighter will give the army air superiority.

The rear macinegun pivots and can attack both pursuing fliers and targets on the ground.

Image

The medik and mechanik keeps the troops and vehicles up to shape.

Finally, the TeleKommando. This elite soldier teleports all over the place in flashes of light. Those who do not die from his beamsaber soon succumb to epilepsia.

1st: The Hero looks great, I've never thought to use the feather head dress in the holes of that helmet before.

2nd: The Tankette is cute, I really like how you did this. I like the fighter too, is there a pilot in there?

3rd: H'mm, those look fairly easy to copy for forum battles. Atlantis Torsos though.

Great, I love half-crazed brain-damaged psychopaths with delusions of grandeur.

Your tank and flyer look good for multi-production, and we all know having more of the same is awesome.

Love everything about this army, from the minifig uniform colors to the fighter (the fighter is the most awesome part, though). Great job.

I really like how you did the tank treads, when I first saw them I thought they actually worked.

I love the use of that door as a roll of gauze, how the hell did you think of that?

Great army altogether, nice and uniform.

Yup. Also a gunner for the rear machinegun.

Well... I didn't. I saw it somewhere else years ago and thought "Nice, I have to use that some time."

But the tank treads are of my own invention.

That tank and the hero are great. Love it.

Side note - Do you play Call of Duty: United Offensive? I could have sworn a new player came on my server the other day named Raskolnikov.

I pretty much only play on the |DD| servers, but I used to go on uDi and QORE zombies. I was part of a clan called =[PD813]= when I played on v1.41.
