The Revenant

The Revenant is a group of space pioneers, flung into deep space by a FTL drive accident, making their way in the universe as a nomadic society centered around their ill fated home, the Phoenix.

Vol.1 Ships

For reference, a minifig would be 1 pip. No idea what scale that works out too.

Amphitheater class assault landing ship:
Image
Named after mythical beast that snatched its prey from the earth with its long tail.

Phoenix:
Image
The only Revenant ship capable of FTL or equipped with shield technology, it is a colony, refinery, factory, and the single largest and most powerful ship the Revenant can field. It is also the most precious, as the entire Revenant society was either born on or has lived on this ship at one point and it can never be replaced.
Image
The main weapon, a series of missile tubes. The missiles themselves are inert, rather each one tows a thin cable that connects back to the bow, and therein, to a massive series of capacitor banks. The combination of missile trails, glittering cables, and arcing electricity has earned it the nicknames "Lightning Web" "Thors Sneeze" and "Electric Spider"
Image
Comparison with an Amphitheater and random ship. It works out too something like 117 studs I forget.

...Damn.

The Amphitheater is pretty cool -- but it wasn't much preparation for what came next. The Phoenix looks incredibly imposing, even more so once you consider that it's actually microscale. (As a tone-spoiling aside, you're building in what our forum calls "Warhead scale" -- microscale, but larger than the scale most micro space game pieces are built in) The Phoenix could use some more detail on its mid section, but it definitely has an awesome shape and some interesting weaponry. Welcome to the forums! Judging by this you'll probably fit right in.

That's gotta be one of the most badass ships I've seen yet.

Wait, is the Phoenix microfig scale. How big is a planet in microfig scale?

Nice! I really like you style. Looks a little like Natalya's to me.

Your concept of weapons is great, and I would like to see more pictures.

Do you think you could show us the engines?

The ship looks great, although I will point out that with some conversions It looks like it will easily hold mini-figs.

Hahaha, I was looking at the first ship like "eh, that's alright. Not anything that great." Then I saw the next one.

Great job man, really like the shape of it, especially at the front.

Awesome ships, Amphitheater looks very classic-spacey, very cool.
And the Phoenix looks like a cross between a rebel blockade runner, and an MGL. Which is of course, totally awesome. :myth:

Damn, these are some fine looking ships, and damn... damn because I wanted to do a Giant Micro Scale ship for the Immortals and now I look like I copied, oh well.

Also: Warhead Scale isn't accurate, it's normal micro scale. We should call the smaller type Dilanski scale.

Sub capitals

Caracal Assault landing craft:
Image
Originally a proof of concept prototype for the much larger Amphitheater, the Caracal has gone on to become a mass produced workhorse. From patrol missions to covert insertions and close air support there is little a Caracal can't do.

Profile.

"The Firehose" Twin linked 5mm railgun. Small caliber, extremely high rate of fire.

The Caracal actually is capable of water landings, thus the top hatch.

Interior bits.

Wyvern Attack fighter:
Image
Designed primarily for anti-capital operations and close air support.
Image
Twin 20mm cannons, two 3 inch rocket pods, and a lightning cannon.
Image
Basically a miniature version of the Phoenix's main weapon. A specialized aluminum nitrate shell is fired that disintegrates as it travels, leaving a trail of conductive flakes that the stored electricity can follow to the target.
