Recent developments in bi-pedal locomotion and AI have resulted in the Ray Class Robotic Assistant, ideal for situations where minifigs fear to tread.
I was browsing through Flickr when I hit the "Homeschooled Lego" tag, revealing the custom design of a Midimini, which is what you see here.
Not really that hard to build and rather fun. Give it a shot!

When you named it "Ray" i was expecting a scruffy mechanic bot. not this... thing.
It needs overalls, grease stains, and stubble.

It's adorable, which on the field of battle is generally not a good thing. Needs more spikes, dynamite, and just general all around badassness. Nobody will take the FELC seriously if they field this sort of robot.

Same size as this little guy:

Both would make real cute targets.

Uh-huh. Say that again when it's chased your hero halfway across the field of battle, wielding a gigantic broadsword.
I'll post the stats in a bit.
It's essentially just another toy for the Engineer, albert one that kicks ass.

I like it, but I haven't the 'T' pieces to replicate it. And they cost like 20p each so not going to happen any time soon. The crossbow is a sin, but a very interesting look.

ftfy
if it chased me across the battlefield with a broadsword I'd die of cuteness overload.
I'd be like "It thinks it's a big bad robot, d'awwwwwwwwww" and then die a happy man

@Graf: ...
@Warhead: Yeah, well, blame Oloth.
The funny thing is, I've cut about four pieces in my building experiments. That crossbow, a spear, an ax, and flower piece for the Portal gun.

@Graf(again)-
Please be advised to keep all arms and legs away from the R-Class Mechoid at all times.
Thank you.

That's much more intimidating. I can see it decorating the festhall with the skulls of everyone it meets.

Excellent.
Oh hey, you gave me an idea!
