T.L.A. End of Summer Build-A-Thon

Trying to squeeze in those last few small MOCs before I go to school. I doubt that I will drop completely off the net like last year -- workload looks a bit smaller -- but I definitely won't have as much time for building.

Image
The T.L.A. is developing quite the reputation for robotic units. Here are a pair of Gnat Micro-Scouts hovering next to a trooper armed with a grenade launcher. Fast and agile, these droids provide targeting data to T.L.A. indirect fire units and missiles.

More drones (Yeah, all but one of the creations are unmanned. Easier to build I guess). These are T.L.A. Navy Autonomous Kill Vehicles (AKVs). Basically flying kamikaze drones, these craft are armed with a thermite-coated titanium "spear" tipped with diamond blades. On impact, with the full momentum of the drone behind it, the spear can punch through even tank hulls. The drones can be data-linked for coordinated attacks, and a point defense version with a mk.I gun is on the drawing board.

Two AKVs mounted on the dorsal hard points of my F-57.

I've updated my B.A.D.A.S.S. Squad with an artillery droid and a miniature droid that can enter minifig-scale buildings. More detailed information on that page.

Image
My favorite of the new updates, a T.L.A. jetbike. It's armed with a plasma burst cannon to bring down enemy infantry. Not really enough room for a decent anti-vehicle weapon on this model. Arming the rider with a bazooka might work, but it would be annoying to have him spend every other turn reloading the thing. Similarly, building a one-shot missile attachment doesn't seem worth it.

And what purpose does this collection of rare (at least in my collection) parts serve? You'll find out... Don't hold your breath, though. Seriously, I won't even start building until Thanksgiving at the earliest.

I like all your stuff but my favorite is still the B.A.D.A.S.S. Squad. I just like these guys.

Oh and I like the Artillery one you added. Closes the gap on their range of support. Well done.

Excellent job on the airspeeder. It looks... swooshable, which is very high praise.

Can we get a better look at those robots.

I'd put the guns on the side of the hoverbike's snout, right now it looks like it's limiting it's own fire radius.

Otherwise all very sweet stuff, specially the bots and the flyer.
