Redid the Stregga yet again.

Cockpit's the same, but new missile launchers, machine guns, and horizontal and vertical thrusters.

More firepower you said? 4 MKII missiles, a MKIII gatling gun, and an automated rotating turret...

Not to mention two mounted machine guns and (not pictured) gunners, one on each side. This is the new seating area (as opposed to the previous standing room only arrangement.

Fully armed and ready to go. I made the rear look more streamlined.

The two gunners, 4 heavy troops, and the pilot.

Of course there's two.

All the drop troops and their customized helmets. The two in the center are the support droid and the commander.

Nice, I've always loved the 'nam 7th Air Cav look to these. I like the troops too, if only those X-Wing pilot helmets weren't so expensive!
One small change if it were my decision, the pivot mounting for the side door guns. I'd mount them to the rear, the ship has enough ordinance to the front and it's cover fire from this direction that makes more sense to me. Perhaps even a hinge joint so they can face the rear, with a bit of scary leaning out for the gunner.

Thanks, I wanted them to look more realistic, so the big and bulky look works well I think. If I had the pieces I would like to make another larger one, about 2 times the size of these and have these be a sort of escort ship. Think Avatar Scorpions and the Dragon gunship (just not that big, that style).
I luckily had the two older pilot helmets and got the newer one in the battle pack. I wanted them all to have their own weird helmets so they could still be uniform, just with a little more flair.
The MGs are mounted in the easiest spot right now, but I'll see if I can move them back.

Very well done; tight build, nice details, stuck to your colors, and a neat drop ship design.
I like how you built the side gunner weapons; quite creative.

This is pretty epic, I gotta say. I love the silhouette from every angle. There's so many cool new details -- the nose looks a lot better now than on the previous version, I love the rocket pods, and the door machine guns look great. I still think you should put something on the tail -- smaller secondary engines or a pair of fins.

I not only like how they look, but I love you elected to make a pair of them. Nice work.

Also loving the usage of fence-pieces.

The fact that you built a pair doubles the awesomeness. Excellent job.

This warmachine is so sleek and sexy that I've delurked in order to compliment it. And the fact that there are two that look EXACTLY the same only make it better.

One problem that I can see is from a rules standpoint:
4*2 (missiles) + 3 (gatling gun) + 1 (under-nose turret) + 2*1 (door guns) = 14" worth of weapons. Are you sure this guy is 14" long?
From a construction standpoint, he's amazing! I wouldn't want to face this guy in a vignette, no sir...

It's 12 inches long. I checked with Stubby a few days ago and guns that don't draw from a vehicle's power supply, like explosives, don't count, so I thought that a couple machine guns that could be unhooked but were just mounted would be fine and not count toward the cost.

These look so much better than before. They look like they can wreak havoc on a battlefield. There's not much I can add to it except that I'm with Warhead about putting the side guns on the back.
All of this great work people are putting out makes me want to build something now....
