Here's the original combat pick-up. It was a fine build, capable in battle, but had several weaknesses. Namely that its machine gun could be chopped off, and the driver was vulnerable.


That has changed now with the newest Salt Miner innovation; armor!


This is the latest version of the Conglomerate Combat Pick-Up Truck. It's now heavily armored and features integrated dual machine guns. Here's a side view of its weapons...

In the original design, a machine gun was bolted to the bed at its primary weapon. However, this made the pick-up's offensive power halt when the gun was inevitably shot off. I've removed the gun entirely, but left the space if another weapon needs to be mounted again.


Most of the truck is built as one piece; it can safely be removed entirely from the chassis for modifications.


The best part is, I'm almost done upgrading both trucks! The second one only needs a second gun, and they'll be on the road to battle!

Looks better IMO and surely works better too!
Altough the design seems simple, it still looks very good. I especially like that you have made some room for infantry in the back of the car!

Only thing is, there's like no studs to keep them there!

I really like how you made the top removable though.

A minor edit to the weapons. I didn't have the right pieces to give the second truck two machine guns, so I replaced one of them with a built-in shotgun. There aren't enough vehicles with shotguns build-in, right? ^_^




Also, I could replace the studless 2x2 in the back with a studded one... if I had any left.

Shotguns would work well, as well as work ok on a bloody battlefield. I guess unless there's nothing to bloodify.
