Briktopian Armored Division

Since they are showing up in my forum battle i thought i'd present the vehicles i had built some time go and which were waiting
almost too long to go to war at least. No fluff this time, just pics. And credit where credit is due...

Image

My version of Tunasailor's awesome Jaguar armored car.

Image

Including the trademark rocket pods on both sides.

Image

From the back. It has a pilot of course but there is no "natural" access to him like in the original build of the armored car.

Image

Initially i wanted to build two armored cars but lacked parts so i build this 4WD truck based on the Jaguar design. It can accomodate
four passengers. (Also at this point i rememberd to turn on macro mode)

My minigun turret. Includes a targeting system. I thought of some funky automatic target linking fire&forget mode for these but
i have been too lazy so far to make rules for it. Speaking of rules... where are "automatic fire rules" when you need them? I clicked that
link so many times...

Image

The Super Death Tank Race is on but i could only build a medium tank. Had these tracks lieing around for a long time... Anyway,
my tank is inspired by several people's creations. I took a good look at Silent-Sigfig's Diplomat, Roc's and Natalya's tanks too
of course. My effort is nowhere near as good as theirs but i still like it for my first tank. The gun was ripped off shamelessly of
Fredde's hover tank although i used a similar twin mounted design on the Rainbow Demon.

Image

Twin linked minigun both for anit-air and anti-infantry action.

Access to the driver, yay!

Those jeeps are sexy. The tank is a bit boxy, but I still like it. Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see more of your vehicles!

Pretty!
The first is my favorite. Can it fit more than one fig?

The first one is pretty cool, as is the tank.

These are some really cool vehicles. The yellow color choice makes them all real unique, and the tank looks quite fearsome.

briktopians are honestly one of my favorite factions. It's too bad they ceased production of Space police 3

I really like these. The Briktopian minigun turret design is awesome, and I like the tank's low-slung, wide look.

I like the tank. The flat design reminds me of the M1 Abrams. Excellent renditions of the Jaguar, as well. The minigun turrets are great. Also, you make yellow look awesome.

How is the turret connected to the hull?

Thanks for all the praise! It is inspiring.

@Pwnerade: which vehicle's hull? The armored car? Here it is just put on a stack of 2x3 bricks that i put into the hole that contains the turret in the original. Nothing fancy on the other two either.

I was saying not too long ago that we needed more armies in a yellow color scheme, and through fate or mind reading, Apollyon has delivered.

I love that tank the most, the armored cars are awesome and all - but that tank just takes the thread and turns it into win, It may be kinda boxxy - but it stands out so damn much that it would just beat a battlefield down through its sheer yellowness.

GOOD ENOUGH TO SKULL FUCK.

Currently it only fits the pilot. In theory it could probably fit another one in the back but then i'd want to get proper access to it which would require a redesign of that part of the car.

That tank is made of yellow win! Pretty good for your first try Silent. I like the railgun idea but it always seems to disappoint me when it starts falling down and gives it that hanged look. Still pretty awesome
