Task force Hill

Post by Cpl. Halan » Sun Mar 20, 2011 7:40 pm

Task force hill is a relatively small task force fielded by the Republic of Mauros for long independent missions(freighters and supply crap is absent but "out there somewhere"). The task force has the space based wing, the marine contingent to secure an LZ and an assault battalion, the 83rd, which is somewhat under strength.

The whole force, I'm too lazy to pivot it so just tilt your head sideways
Image
The assorted special forces, left is the covert ops team, middle is a scout team, and right is a specwar assault team.
Image
The guys in black are the chancellery guard, they are elite heavy infantry that keep the regime from collapsing
Image
These guys are religious fanatics with guns corrupted by the government

The 83rd

The anti armor companyis full strength(there is an AT missile team in the tanklike vehicle)

The armor company is at half strength

The assault company is missing a squad of assault troops(there is another one in the APC)

The fast attack company is at full strength

The major in charge.

The marines

The marine CO

The infantry platoon, the guys on boxes are demo troops and the guy in black with the gun on his back is my new sigfig

The marine support platoon
Image
The air units(there are also 8 fighters in the carrier)some of the stuff in the front is airborne(like the other APC(Marines and army don't always use the same equipment))

The fleet, badly illuminated

Ask if you want more pics of a specific vehicle, C&C appreciated

Clever use of swords on the Anti-Armor company's tank/tank destroyer thing.

Can we get a close up of the big-awesometastic-gun your sigfig had on his back and of the hardsuit guys, as they look particularly epic?

On the whole, you get four stolen 4.5s out of 5.

nicely done. i think it got better the further I read... as wingnut said, the cannon with the swords is awesome, and i like the marines.
imo, the beginning ground forces don't seem to match up with the rest of the army...
too many different color like brown and black that don't make an appearance later on.

Love those hardsuits, the sigfig, the jeep-looking vehicles, the tracked anti-tank vehicle, and that giant skull thing in the back. Quite the force!

Thanks for reminding me, I was using the green/black/brown as a placeholder for gray.

Pwnerade: the skull thing is the Bane, you can find it http://www.brikwars.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6563 here

I'll try to get pictures of the hardsuits and my sigfig's gun. Most of the vehicles will be seen in their own topics later.

Wow, I never realized how large your force has gotten. Very impressive, all you need is more walker units to round it out!

SuperBump
There is a poll in the OP now, should a scrap all my army vehicles to build a bigger fleet and marine corps? The marines would take over the army's general function but everything would be in space.
