A Mini-Warhead Production: Tank!

Post by Warhead » Sat May 28, 2011 6:52 am

I had planned to get some building done this Holiday Weekend and had told Mini-Warhead he could give me a hand getting some Tank Track assemblies sorted out. The weekend was all set.

Weeeell, he thought that this was a great idea. So much so that he swiftly caught a cold and passed it just as swiftly onto me AS SOON AS I GOT HOME FROM BLOODY WORK!!! Now I'm shivering with a temperature, aching bones and all that shite while the lil bastard just shrugged off his sniffles and now has free rein of the Lego!.. I think the nature of Warhead is strong with this one. I may have met my match. However, just to rub it in, not only did he show me how tanks tracks are piss easy, something I'm hopelessly fumbling about with in my fevered state. No, that wasn't enough, he's only gone and completed his own bloody tank too!

Fuck you and your "the grass needs cut..." It's a haven for insects and wild stuff in our garden. We get Dragonflies, Lady Birds, Butterflies and all that sorta' crap. The front is neat, this is the back.

Image

I told him about the Peach Liberation and Storm Troopers but he just looked at me like a puppy being shown a card trick and stated "Stormies are cool." So... yeah, just try to argue with that why don't'cha.

Image

Damn and blasted tracks *mumble*

Image

I gave him a hand with the Atlantis posed pics but all the others were taken by Mini-Warhead.

"Aaaaargh!..urgle!"

Front mounted short ranged flamethrower. For infantry that like to hide in buildings.

Some sort of fuel tanky thing, probably for the flamethrower I guess.

Quick release. also shows a chink in the tanks armour which I've already pointed out. He replied it was to stop the tank crew from running away or retreating. Better to face your enemies than to show them your weakest armour.

Well, I guess I'm pretty damn proud of him yet again. Dammit! :?

Any responsible parent wouldn't allow his son to get involved in this forum. Oh yeah, wait...

Most of all I think MW could blackmail him by threatening to tell the stuff he posts here to Mom-Warhead or whatever we call her if he'd join the forum. And that would be bad.

Great tank! A really nice build and it's plain your son has well and truly mastered tracks.

I almost feel sorry for those Atlantis troops getting lost in the 'jungle' like that.

I've never been one for perfectly manicured lawns either except that I have to keep the lawn out front looking neat and tidy too. BUT round the back in my own private area I let the grass grow longer so the wee brown lizards and the bugs have somewhere to live and hide away.

Awesome. Does MW play any Brikwars? Because it would be awesome to see him slaughtering in a forum battle.

Thanks very much lads, I'll pass on the remarks. Heavily edited to save his oversized head getting any bigger. Nah, really, it's like an orange on a toothpick! It's huuuuge! Heeeid! Shift!

I have played some basic Quickwars, only one problem. Lil'bugger keeps on winning. :?

I have a sort of report I've loaded to photobucket but haven't gotten around to posting yet. Nothing to do with loosing though.

Cheers!

Hrm, tell me about it OneEye. Since that bout of pneumonia last year my lungs/chest has been susceptible to the cold I guess. The doc even said I had asthma, which I'm refusing to acknowledge. So, I've been using the stairs in our high rise building (11 floors) at work, four times a day (my legs are like they used to be when I was weight training five nights a week) and I plan to start jogging and swimming once the summer starts... or when the weather decides to stop being winter. Even sick though I'll still be at work, passing the germs about and spreading the misery.
