New Scythian Warship Sighted

Urgent Message from Grand Admiral Blackdog of the Blue to High Lord Grand Admiral Cromwell:
Lord Cromwell, after the recent mystery ship attack on a Britannian courier ship, I dispatched a recon ship to perform a fly-by of a nearby Scythian naval base to see if any similar ships were in their territory or docked at their base. It found none, but during the flight it saw something almost as worrying:
This appears to be a new Scythian cruiser recently deployed to frontline bases. Intercepted communications referred to this ship as "Darkstar one", so we are assuming that this new ship class is called the Darkstar class.
It has relatively few turrets for a Scythian design, but the size of its Anti-Matter reactor housing suggests that each of its four turrets draws a considerable amount of power when in use. Blue Sector Fleet HQ suggests that all vessels approach this ship with caution, especially from its forward arc.
Its engine array is fairly normal for a Scythian craft, we calculate that it should be able to maintain the same acceleration as our cruiser-class vessels.

Ooo, it's more curvy than usual for a Scythian, but I like the latest improvements to the original design. Nice work yet again. I have no power to make you a Scythian Lord though.

Meh, I like the Britannians better. Their ships are more my style, and I have more gray and blue pieces than red.
Yeah, there's a few differences, I didn't really notice the curves, but the turrets are not the same style as the ones Scythe puts on his ships... I just don't have the parts for those. Anyway, this is kind of a scale that Scythe hasn't used before, bigger than his small ships but smaller than his Monarch/Emperor/Empress super battleships, so I felt free to experiment a bit.
Building in other faction styles is fun! Next up, the Immortal Empire.

With this fleet, launch a foray against the system in a bid to seize or destroy this prototype before it has had a chance to finish construction. Any ship building infrastructure found at site that can not be held or removed before a Scythian reaction force arrives must be destroyed prior to withdrawing your fleet. This new class of Scythian vessel is indeed a threat to the peace and harmony of Her Majesty's Britannian League. I fear that the valiant ironclad warships of the White Sector would not have the measure of such a battleship as this, however I believe they shall have a valuable role to play in the patrolling of Blue Sector supply routes as this campaign is brought to fruition.

As you will be aware the Battlecruiser is primarily a raiders weapon. Whatever plans the Scythian Empire may have for this ship it mustn't be allowed to succeed.

Aye aye, Admiral! We strike tomorrow at dawn.
Previously, I had ordered our dockyards to begin converting a fast courier ship into an armed vessel for my personal use. I had previously intended to use it to conduct a search for more of the unknown recon vessels, but in light of your orders I have ordered it rushed to completion.
Units for the task force have been chosen and briefed. I will lead them on this mission tomorrow, as soon as our target is sighted.

The Blue Sector's gunboat forces have the speed to capture the Darkstar and escape, but not the strength to destroy the shipyard where it was produced. The White Sector's warships may yet have a role to play.
