The Midnight Hands

I was mowing the lawn yesterday and an I got this idea for a small mercenary faction. This is my first real try at army building, so constructive criticism is most welcome. Description above the pictures. (stats later if asked for)

The Midnight Hands are a mercenary organization run by me (Zixy). They will work for anyone who pays well and are some of the best around. 1 year ago they would have worked with a peach army. But since the peaches betrayed them, they were never forgiven.

Heh thanks, the AGT actually stands for Anti gravity Tank, but i was not creative enough to figure out a better name. So I just abbreviated it.

Love the tank. I think you could do with a bit more cohesiveness, but for a merc army, this is great. Good job!

Nice work on the Gauss railgun.

Thanks everyone,
Regarding cohesiveness, the most cohesive stuff I have is mostly clone armor. What is the best way to make that look good without making it look like a clone army?

I like the way the tank turned out as well, it was sort of a last minute addition, glad I added it.

Give them different arms/legs/headgear/weapons than what they came with. Case in point: My 101st Airborne commandos

agreed. headgear and arm color especially make a difference, as well as adding a couple of leaders that don't have that body, but go with the color scheme to tie it all together. the guns are not mandatory, as many people base designs off star wars guns, but adding a clip here and there would certainly break up the 'factory-made' look.

Nice job, the guy in the scout trooper helmet (or should I say yourself) is perhaps my favorite fig, although, just so you know, a gauss rifle and a railgun are two different weapons: a gauss rifle uses a series of electromagnets to propel its projectiles at high speed, while a rail gun uses a pair of electrically-charged rails to create an electric current that powers the weapon's projectile. Sorry if I just de-railed the topic of this thread.

The little hover tank is an absolute gem and I'm sure the design is going to get copied and become a forum standard design.

I love the design for your Gauss Railgun, even though those are two different ways for magnetically accelerating projectiles.

The jump armor is very Brikwarsy. I like. :)

Thanks everyone,
Ill figure out whether its gauss or a railgun. I knew they were different but not to that degree.
Also, wow, I did not realize my little tank would be that cool that it could become a standard.
I'm flattered
