I've recently battled against the actual brik version of this LDD Moc as Saph doesn't have a decent digital camera as far as I am aware.
At the time it had wheels - but I think he's planning to add tracks to the sod at some point or another.

I decided to go with ground effect hover in the end, keeps the profile low.

Real nice. I like the overall image quite a bit.
So how did Shadowsythe's forces stand up against this?

Hmm, I see that you think that you can add a turret with double the guns to try and double the awesomeness...
Well, your correct with that logic, and welcome to brikwars!
edit: it does look a little top heavy however, such a big turret on the little tank body. and the rear hatch door stairs was really clever, i might need to try that!

I had considered the idea of a heavy tank, where the side 'wing' guns were also replaced with a turret 6barrel cluster as well on each side of the main body, but it did might ruin the lines of the tank a bit, so I think I will save that for the super-tank version, which I can see as a wider land battleship with possibly more than one turret :p

Actually I died horribly due to a massive number of critical fail dice rolls on my part - most of my troops and vehicles didn't fire and I then failed almost every armour roll I could make.
Most of my vehicles where shreded in about two turns through death by paper cuts, enough small hits ripped through my (critical fail) defence rolls and the Orpheus SHDT was the first thing to die . . . thats right, the Super Hover Death Tank burst into flames and crashed into the ground.
The battle wound down into my Titanus battle mech and the remainder of my infantry using my shredded vehicles as cover and firing pot shots at Saph's inbound forces until his ground skimmers flanked me and wiped out the remaining forces.
I've come to the comclusion my units need either -
- Some form of shield
- More badarse armour
- An Ignore critical fail rule
Otherwise - my high powered single strike units get shredded by something that has 8-14 smaller guns and all Saph needed to do was wait for me to explode through ineptitude, but such is brikwars.

I'd avoid anything that negates critical fails, unless you also eliminated critical successes. Although, I feel both are an integral part of the brikwars spirit.

I think more maybe they should do non intrinsically fatal effects, like system out or unable to move, rather than actual take it out of the fight permanently unless it is a spectacular everything 1 critical fail.

So are we still talking Brikwars or have we shifted over to pr0n?

the main differences are more violence and it's a bit blockier... so minecraft pr0n?
the tank looks good though, and you guys should make sure to post pics of your next encounter! And @shadow: Loaded dice have always worked for me
