Two-month old surprise for Ross (plus extras)

So.... I've had these built for about two months, and I just never got around to posting them. Anyway, We'll start with the Paladin Corp stuff.

This is the Eagle-class troop transport. With a capacity of over twenty troops, it can certainly turn the tides of a battle quickly

Image

Armed with two heavy railguns and four mkII missiles, it can offer some air support as well

Image

Its armored side also provides cover from small arms fire, but the passengers are still left open to air assaults.

Undershot, showing the four main lifters that allow it to hover

Back

And front

Image

A canopy is being developed atm, which would allow passengers a bit more cover, at the expense of a larger target, and less visibility (and by 'being developed' I mean... not being developed. Cause I'm lazy).

Anyway, we move on... To the FELC! This small group took me almost as long as the hovercraft, mainly because I spent a couple hourse digging around for helmets and orange chests.

These are the regular troopers, with a powerful bullpup assault rifle

Image

The heavy, with a prototype weapon, whose origins and effects are classified

Image

Next, the officer and his two elite troopers

Image

And, of course, Ross himself, with a katana and a repeating heavy laser rifle

Image

Small addition... Battle armor!

Image

Having been on the battlefield against the immortals, the Paladin Corp deemed it necessary to equip high-ranking officials with slightly more protection. Thus, the battle armor was born. Finding that it was cumbersome to carry a firearm and a shield into battle, engineers shored up some holes in their prototype design, and sent it out- the chainsword (mkI)

This one has a GTC blade, and is especially powerful.

And a group shot

nice to be back, c+c welcome.

Welcome back, enders.

Smashing hover design; excellent move away from the need for treads. Though I might recommend the development of a canopy. An explosive device in any sort of open vehicle (or teleporting baddies, or ninjas DISGUISED as your troops) sort of rains on the parade  I might be speaking from experience there, lol.

Where are the missiles? I couldn't find them...

Ah yes, the age old 'ninjas disguised as your troops in your base take over your vehicle later on the battlefield' ruse... As said earlier one is in the concept stage, but I might need some more indy canopies before I attempt anything. Also, the missiles are recessed next to the railguns (the grey technic half-pins)

Puts all of my hovercraft to shame. I applaud your sleekness and bulkiness.

Excellent job, Enders. I love the hovercraft and the battle armor. I would stick with Rev. Sylvanus' idea about a canopy though.

Nice stuff, and like BFenix said, the GTC is especially awesome.

Transport is slick man, nice work.

Could you show better shots of the 'bullpop' rifle?

Thanks!

got any extra antennae/levers? if you take the black bit out, you can pop the nub part on the end of a technic pin and make a good warhead-tip. They look especially good in red, and cones or 1x1 studs are pretty good substitutes.

Cool troop carrier, except for the fact that it makes it a shooting gallery for apposing units.
:protip: Make a Landraider.

They were being used on microspace, but I should be able to find four of the same color. Thanks for the tip!

Also, @Morganm: it's just a standard lego blaster with a hammer in the back and a blue stud on the front.

This is quite nice

Also you should add pintle-mounted MG's or Gatlings on the sides and back to prevent the enemy from flanking and lobbing a frag into the open passenger compartment

Well there's no reason that the guys on board can't take aim and fire at anyone standing outside (unless of course they're too crowded in to move). There might not be much cover, but consider it a mobile firing platform. that can fly.

Wouldn't want any minifigs to be dying in a Brikwar.
