U.S.S.S.R.

As promised, here are some pictures of my small Union of Soviet Socialist Space Republics or U.S.S.S.R. battle force. Unlike the Tomb Kings army, which is an ongoing project, expanding here and rthere as a ppropriate, this one is a done deal, retro-futuristic nod sort of an army. If there ever will be a 50ies sci-fi looking, predominantly red-and-neon-green theme in the future, I might revisit this little subset. Also, I apologize for the quality of these pictures. The U.S.S.S.R. battle group "lives" in my office, at work, and I only had a few minutes to snap the pictures while I was running in to pick up a few things earlier today.

Happy Holidays!

Oh man, is that a mech that turns into a tank? I think that's a mech that turns into a tank. Hell yes, keep on building you mighty warrior.

Your job looks like it's awesome when you're not doing it. Have you gotten any of your co-workers into brikwars?

I do indeed love my job and it is, indeed, awesome we even when I am not actively engaged in it! It may have something to do with the development of vieeogames, namely with music and sound of the above-mentioned vieeogames. ;)

I have tried to get mycoworkers into Brikwars, as a fair amount of them loves LEGO and/or tabletop war games. But, regardless of brining my entire Mummy ary into one of the better game shops on war game night and offering demo games of Quickwars to anyone nterested and regardless of constantly asking/reminding about it at work, not a single game of Brikwars was played yet. In fact, I am yet to play a game of Brikwars all together, ever, which is sad. People at work are only interested in Warhammer 40K / Fantasy or Warmachine / Hordes, which, too, are great games but certainly do not help my Brikwars issue.

Know anone in RI / MA area interested in a game of minifig warfare? :)

Pretty much the same as my comment in the Tomb Kings thread. Buy all the Atlantis sets and you have this.

Wrong. The Tomb Kings look cool, and there are quite a few MOCS. This is an unoriginal faction made of Atlantis sets, but I'm not going to sit here and insult this man.

Never insulted him, I still think the armies are quite something. But yes, Point Taken.

If NELUG and Shaun Sullivan if are still into Brikwars, you should talk to them.

Just so you guys have the official statement, I am, by no means an MOCer. I love creating characters, customizing preexisting sets by creating more detailed interiors, etc. mostly due to the fact that I am not a visual artist and, try as I might, my MOCs look like a bunch of wasted effort and over-designed crap.:D That said, I love coming up with lore, names, ideas and designing an army based on some sort of common thread. So yes, you will most likely see some other army ideas built around pure-existing sets with some modifications. Or you won't, if such thing offends you, at which point I won't bother you with pictures.

At any rate, thanks for your comments. I appreciate them all. Yes even the grumpy ones. :)

Offended people? Ignore them. I want to see whatever you create, mate, and I know a good number of others here will as well.

True, most people here are actually like you when it comes to creating lore and and stuff. Nevermind my bitching.

Personally, I don't own any of the Atlantis sets, so this is all new to me.

Looks cool, and, at the very least, you have a uniform-looking army, unlike some others on this forum (My self included).
