I decided my Prussians needed a tank.



Behold, the Schwebewolf, more suited to the jungles and bogs of New Prussia than typical tanks. It was partially inspired by the GDI hover unit from Tiberian Sun but based on the ATT, one of my favourite SW sets, but the top part is far smaller, making it faster and more maneuverable than the ATT. The hover engine allows it to float up and down surfaces, giving it a major advantage.



Armed with six laser cannons, it has the firepower of an entire platoon of soldiers while missiles provide it with primarily anti-air but also anti-vehicle capabilities. Typically these relatively fast tanks would be used to chase down fleeing enemies or quickly reinforce positions on a battlefield that are being overrun. They are extremely effective against people and do okay against air and vehicles up to or slightly above the same size, but are known to suffer in combat against heavily armed and armoured adversaries.



The yellow engines have to go, but I didn't have any in the right colour spare. I will fix that, some time. I have most of the pieces to build a second one, but won't yet because as you can see, even this one needs a few details fixed still.



They are piloted by bots because the bots can interact directly with the tank's controls and sensors while keeping their head down; a human pilot would make sniper-bait from such a high position.

I really like the asymmetry of that front scoop!

The design is cool but do I sense some rushing into it?

Cool. It seems to lack the skull crushing treads most tanks have, but you could probably decapitate <a href='http://tinyurl.com/y42zurt'>alot</a> of minifigs with the right speed and angle.

Nice tank! Also, might I suggest some kind of a sawblade in addition to the already deadly front?

I'll add blades all over de front so it can ram infantry effectively; this would also make sense seeing how it has to maneuver through jungles and cut through the undergrowth. Once I get those parts, of course, as BF noticed I still need some small detailed parts for finetuning

Awesome. I especially like your choice of canopy. With all of those machine guns on the front I don't see how it would need antipersonnel saw blades, but they certainly wouldn't hurt.

Well, yes, actually they would. But you know what I mean.

Ohhh I like Especially the top half! with the missile pods it looks almost like the torso of a madcat! nice job!

There is no overkill! And you can never be too carnage.



Finished adding some details, see if you can spot them. The 'hooks' on the front is where I'll be putting the same blades you see in front of the hatch, once I have enough of them.



The largest improvement is the back, I only need to fix those engines now...



Those blades are also there to discourage a melee assault on the hatch.I can already imagine it slashing through ranks of indigenous aliens while blood and bodies cover the front. For Genocide!

Got any Brittanian tanks/dreds Brag?

So far I've seen very little Brittanian MOCs at all so it's kinda difficult to get inspired, but I do have a few ideas. It's not going to be a huge MOC though, but powerful enough.
