The Jackal (now with less picture fail)

Meet the Jackal, the bigger, better, badder and overall meaner brother of the Hyena mech.
I literally started from scratch with this thing, all I knew was that I wanted a mech and that I didn't want it to grow over my head and become a huge 'project' like the Gekka. As I was putting it together I decided I had to maintain the 'Inquistadore' feel and style from past creations above everything else. I trust you can see the similarities.
The Jackal's armament consists of 1 underslug heavy cannon (much like el Tigre's main cannon) on the left arm, an underslug flamethrower on the right arm, a shoulder-mounted autolaser and a shoulder-mounted autocannon.
Jackals are the Inquistadores' main battle mechs, and a common sight in their slave camps. While an inattentive guardsman can still have his head knocked in, the Jackal is a clear symbol of how hopeless the infidels' situation is.
That's part of the reason he has claws: the titanium claws can rip through steel but are also useful for catching runaway slaves... or ripping them apart.

Magnificent... however I kept falling over trying to look at it with the pics posted on the side.

I never thought I'd see those lion head pieces used in a mech. They look surprisingly good on it, though.

Legs are a tad stubby for my liking but otherwise pretty good.

Being stubby isn't necessarily a bad thing on this forum.
I just flipped the pictures myself, photobucket is about as useful as a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest.

Thanks, I love using articulated pieces and pieces with some kind of paint on them to give the MOC more character. It also helps to avoid blokiness.

Second picture looks cute, like a cuddly teddy bear almost.
Good mech all round IMO

Awesome. Just the fact that it's legs are large demands a pic of it picking up a smaller dreadnut.

I'm not liking the legs. They seem too skinny for my tastes.

I noticed that, but I was okay with it because they're only a small 1x2 part of the legs and the only part I could connect the feet and thighs with. I could probably beef them up a little and I already have (armour plates to the front, 1x2 plates to the back) somewhat, if I still have the right parts.
