Over the next day or so, I'm going to be kicking off a new building project, the Outpost Network. In order to facilitate above ground travel and exploration, I'll be building and stocking a number of small shelters around the map, so we can duck into one as night falls and safely wait out the night. For the first phase I'll be building a couple dozen outposts directly North, South, East, and West of the main town (I'm thinking 8 in each direct to start). Each outpost will have a small supply of food, a bed, and some basic tools. They'll generally be build in a defensible location, with a tall lighthouse on top so they can easily be seen at night, and named according to their distance from town (for example, the 3rd outpost on the northern line will be named Outpost N3).

If anyone has stone, coal/charcoal, wood, glass, or glow stone they'd like to donate, I'd appreciate it.

Of course.

Ok, I've completed construction of outpost E1, located just NE of the desert village. At the moment, the provisions locker remains unstocked, but otherwise it has all the comforts of home.
