The Exorcism of Frysa-11

The planet Frysa-11 was a mining colony of the Aton System authority, until an alien temple was uncovered underneath the planet’s surface. While exploring the site, a portal was activated within the worship chambers of the temple. Having laid dormant for ages, the safety mechanisms on the portal were malfunctioning and a demonic presence was able to enter this dimension to corrupt part of the archeological team.


Over the next weeks, these possessed recruited more of Aton’s personnel or sacrificed them to their new masters to strengthen the Hell Portal. Soon, more powerful demons were able to manifest on the planet and to spread their corruption over the whole outpost.


Aton was forced to evacuate most of the planet, only leaving behind a few frontline bases and some ships of the Orbital Defense Fleet to keep the demonic invaders at bay.


Now multiple groups are dragged to the dig site, some seeking artifacts, others on a religious crusade. They all follow their own goals, but one thing is for sure: as long as this invasion is ongoing, they’ll have to pick a side: Will they help the demons spread their influence over this dimension or will they support Aton in their attempt to cleanse the planet of Hellspawn?

Aton Zombies

Most of the Zombies are leaving the temple they were guarding, pushing up towards the landing pad while a single Trooper walks up the ramp to the Hell Portal.
(pic doubles as initial overwatch, because I forgot to take one at first)


The former Colonel, now a Sabaoth, shoots the BFG at the landing pad, right next to the Skeledrone and Space Scorpion heroes.


The Space Scorpion Hero and his flamethrower wielding companion decide to bail and not to figure out how combustible the flamethrower actually is. The Super-Skeledrone doesn't feel like moving, he has enough minions standing around. Sadly for the Scorpion tank, it can't jump out of the way and half its brain is pulverised by the plasma projectile.


The rest of the Zombies is not in range to hit anything that isn't allied, so they just stand around picking what's left of their noses.


Space Scorpions
The Sniper has a clear shot at the Sabaoth...


... who has a rather distracted zombie standing in range of his claws, so the unwilling former minifig gets upgraded to a meatshield.


The scorpion, having climbed down the plateau, attempts to incinerate the Zombies. he successfully torches a Sergeant and a Commando, the Sabaoth however still has some minions within arms reach and avoids the flames.


Unfortunately, it looks like the half of the Scorpions brain that got roasted earlier was supposed to keep an eye on the other flamethrower, which blows up, ripping apart the automaton's arm.


The remaining Soldiers fire at the Sabaoth while their sword bearing comrades flee look for cover. None of them manage to damage the former Colonel, though.



Weird Chickens
Rocket Raptor Rampage hits the ramp towards the landing pad, but the one soldier that was in range of the explosion leaps down into the snow.



The chickens then leave to grab food, never to be seen again.


Space Knights
The Tank Commander sees a supernatural D20 powering the hell portal and attempts to shoot the top of the structure to free it - the massive Blood Nest doesn't really care about his attempt. His supordinates meanwhile fire at the Penguin Speeder, which takes some damage and goes out of control, crashing into one of the light bridge's emitters.


The final Knight fires at Beelzebub's leg, which... goes as well as you'd expect. The Sin probably thought it was a Bee sting, ironically.


Penguins
One of the penguins charges the Bunker, but it spear just bounces off the structure's armor. His brethren find more success, sniping two of the Skeledrone Soldiers. What follows is a series of hilarious acts of retribution:
A penguin with a battle staff charges the knight who dared defy Beelzebub, pummeling him to death - just to be decapitated in the process. His Commander avenges the flightless bird, riddling the Space Knight with bullets.



Skeledrones
The Skeledrone Crawler does, what Skeledrone Crawlers do best. That being to Crit-Fail launching it's special orb - a freeze orb, in this case, so no de-zombifications happen. The back of the vehicle, however, is frozen for now. hopefully someone throws a fireball to thaw away the ice.
It's Laser cannon, however, is more successfull, blowing up the penguin speeder.


Th Super Skeledrone attacks the Sabaoth, but to no avail.



Demons
And now, the main attraction: The first heroic Feat of this battle. Which ironically, involved heroic feet. Just not in a good way.
Beelzebub steps forward, attempting to grab the Crawler from the landing pad and yeet it at the Space Knight tank.
What she didn't account for: Skeledrone Tanks might be aweful at launching their payload, but as the Morbin Angels can tell you, their claws hurt. Even something as tough as Beelzebub isn't safe. Do you think Peglegs come in size Kaiju?


Trying to keep her balance with one of her legs missing (luckily she has a lot of sopare arms to lean on), Beelzebub fires 4 massive balls of Hellfire at the tiny blue tank - three of which get absorbed by the Knight's shields, the final one leaves the battlefield, not wanting any part in this desaster.


At least you can count on the Mafia. Those guys turn the Scorpion tank into swiss cheese. (Or Dutch cheese? Cybrandir, help me out here)



Snowtroopers
The E-web cannon, guided by some sort of supernatural flesh beast, puts two holes through Beelzebub's Chest.


The remainder of the Snowtroopers does Snowtrooper things. That is to say they completely miss the Penguin in front of their window.


Overwatch Turn 1

Aton Zombies

While the BFG is reloading, the Sabaoth and the two remaining Troopers actually deal damage to the Skeledrone Crawler. A single point of damage, but those things are so notoriously hard to take down that they can't complain.


"Stop fooling around, freak! You've been dead before!" - the Sabaoth attempts to revive the fallen Sargeant. Semi Successfully. Dying twice is enough for the Zombie and he decides to live the rest of his life as a pacifict. Wait, does he live? Well, He's gonna have approximately two more actions to figure that out.



Space Scorpion
The Sniper manages to hit and destroy the Sabaoth's motor, immobilizing the Zombie Hero.
The remaining Soldiers and the flamethrower try to finish off the colonel, but the pacifist takes his new oath very serious and sacrifices himself so that no one else's blood would be spilled. Told you he wouldn't have to live with his decision for long.


The hero, not having anything better to do, yeets her spear into the light bridge's central control tower, destroying the emitter and deactivating the bridge.


The Mobsters survive the fall. The Zombie trooper... does not.



Space Knights
Not having been successfull in taking out targets bigger than him, the Tank Commander elects to make the same mistake twice and fails to damage Bee


"Hey, I think I see reinforcements coming!" the Commander shouts.
Yes. Yes you do. Just not the ones you were hoping for.



Penguins
The following is roughly translated from the chirping of a penguin and the gnarling of a demon Mobster:
"Hey, that Super Skeledrone has no red shirts nearby"
"No, but my head, so don~"
the rest I couldn't understand, due to the demon lacking his head from this point on.


Well, the Penguin Sniper at least hit an enemy. The E-Web Gunner has become one with the snow.


The Leader of the flightless birds exclaims that he has been flightless for too long! he ignites his Jetpack to hijack the Anti Air Cannon.
Pro tip: if you want to hijcak the thing that only exists to shoot down flying things, don't fly at it.


He survives, but with a mild concussion.


Skeledrones
"Hello, I heard you had a dentists appointment"
"Yes, but not with you! Get that thing out of my face!"
Well. Does out the back of his head count?


The Crawler fires its lasers at Bee, but her honor guard is there to redshirt.



Demons
"Can we get some heals over here?"
The Hell Portal pulsates with energy, as a mighty Rectabus makes it way through to our dimension.


"Thank you. And now: FIREBALL!"
Well. Something about Skeledrone Crawlers being notoriously hard to take down. But hey, remember the foreshadowing when the Ice orb 'sploded and froze the crawler? Well good news, the crawler is no longer frozen.
Wait, does that mean that Bee essentially dealt negative damage?



Snowtroopers
Well, if this sereis of events doesn't make you say "yup, those guys are stormtroopers", then you haven't seen nearly enough memes in your life.
The first trooper fires at the penguin in front of him, critfails and drops his weapon out the window. The Second gives his weapon to the first guy, then runs out to grab the E-Web Blaster - only to Crit Fail yet again and damage the blaster.
Two Stormtroopers Critfailing while shooting. Can't get more lore-accurate than that.



overwatch Turn 2

Aton Zombies

BFG-9000, Take Two. Bad news, he misses his mark by a lot. Good news, the splash damage is massive enough that basically everyone in that section of the battlefield dies. The Sabaoth himself takes another damage to his robotic body, the four Space Scorpion Knights that existed near him don't exist any more.



The final Zombie trooper fires at the Scorpion hero. Well, he tries, but suddenly, there's the leg of a giant spider in front of him. And the poor Spiderdemon was not prepared for friendly fire, it seems, immediately losing two thirds of her HP and the ability to stand upright.
Well, this betrayal is exactly as short lived as the Zombie, as the Spiderdemon comes crashing down upon him.


Giga Gatling go brrrrr~
The Scorpion hero isn't to interested in ending up like his tank - as swiss cheese, that is - and jumps out of the way.



Space Scorpions

After landing, the Hero calls for reinforcements. Doesn't look like these Drones know where they are but why they are here, but everything is exploding around them and they'd prefer to kill something before they get killed, so no time for questions.


Purple flames engulf the Spiderdemon and the Sabaoth, destroying both of their main guns. The Hero and his swordfighter friend jump the poor Spiderdemon, whose last thought before being sent back to hell was how killing Santa and his Pals was a lot more fun than getting betrayed, burned and beaten to death.




Penguins
The Penguin Sniper plays this battle like I play halo. Aim for the stationary gun and dome everyone who tries to use it.


His formerly flying, now flightless again commander attempts to break through the Crawler's armor - semi successfully, it seems, as he apparently hit some cooling system, Freezing the giant beetle again.



Skeledrones
"Ah, Hell, not again. Can we get another fireball over here? Ah, screw this, I'll do it myself" the pilot grabs his window scratcher and starts removing the ice.


The Spear Drone shouts "your adventuring days are over, foul beast!" as he thrusts his spear towards Beelzebub's leg.
"That Knee's already severed, you imbecile! go for the other one" his Commander shouts from the other side of the battlefield, but it's to late: the drone is a failure.


"Gah, whatever. I could go for some chicken filet right about now. But this will have to do". penguins don't seem to be Chainsaw resistant. Well, beats getting yeeted off a cliff by a plumber, I guess.



Demons
"Did I hear FIREBALL?", Bee shouts, throwing more Hellfire towards the Skeledrone Crawler. But of course, the Skeledrone vehicle doesn't care about damage. Those things are sturdy as hell... Vomarsk drones however are highly flammable.


The Rectabus rectifies the Redshirt getting rekt earlier and revives it. well, most of the demon is revived, at least.


Snowtroopers
Not pictured here: A Stormtrooper actually hitting (if there's no proof it didn't happen) and killing a penguin. The one with the Spear, trying to poke the stormtrooper, to be exact.


Overwatch Turn 3
Ignore the penguins getting dragged to another plane of existance, their human got hungry.

Aton Zombie
yes, singular.
one is the loneliest number, but at least you have two laser guns to keep you company. Or to keep the company away, in this case.
The Scorpion Hero isn't as lonely as our Sabaoth buddy though, and his Swordbearer jumps in to intercepts the lasers.


The Sabaoth then repairs his engine and runs away to cry in a corner somewhere. This is going to be a common thing throughout this turn. Somewhat


Space Scorpions
"Oh no, friend's dead... Well, time to summon MORE! Come to me!"
Well, the pilot of that dropship either took that a bit too literally or he just couldn't hit the landing pad.
Sadly we can't ask him, because his corpse is lying somewhere near the hero's.


At least the requested reinforcements make it out alive. Everyone starts firing at Beelzebub.
Going over the top a few times and having two heavy weapons results in 40 damage! But what's that? Something fast, red and mostly useless flies through the frame! I can't tell what it was, all i can see is it's atoms dropping to the ground.



Space Knights
The remaining Knights fire at the Rectabus. Angered by all the Bad Things Happening, the demon scratches Bee - actually dealing another point of damage to her.


The Commander tries to finish the Deadly Sin off, but his Gun goes off in the wrong direction, blowing up one of his tank's tracks.


"We need an engineer over here, someone call the Dutchies!"



Skeledrones

Now this has never happened before and it's never going to happen again, BUT...
The Crawler hit with its Orb! The Rectabus gets damaged badly, frozen, falls to the ground and is disrupted.


And now, for the lightshow. The Crawler hits again, blasting the Demon Prince with its twin lasers.


Triumphant, the Skeledrone Guard charges forward to finish off the Rectabus, hurting her even more.
With all the Bad Things happening, her being frozen, disrupted and now depressed, the Rectabus crawls back to the hell portal to go and cry at her sister's.



Final Overwatch

"Seriously man, what is it with you Dutchmen and killing the Deadly Sins? Do you know how hard it was to even make those deals with them to show up in our dimension? I'm telling you, everyone down there is going to hate Holland with a passion now... God, Satan's gonna be pissed when I show him the report... btw, didn't you forget something? Ah, I'm sure that portal won't cause any issues in the future."
