Turn 5 -- The Vol

Vol Broadheads fly in, strafing the Assyrian line.

More Vol fighters also come in. This one took out another Vesta.
Assyrian Star Empire

The Assyrian gun boat fires back at the Broadheads, downing two of them. Unfortunately, one of them crashes on a couple of the Assyrians on the ground. You win some, you lose some. The surviving Assyrian soldiers kept up the movement towards the Vol base and killed a couple more of them.

Over by the 45th, the surviving Star Commandos take out their hero. That's what he gets for running in all by himself with no one to red-shirt for him.

And there is a generalized bloodbath. The 45th's MBT is destroyed by rocket fire from the Assassin Droids.
45th Union

45th infantry take revenge for their slain hero.

Then their jeeps and remaining tanks charge the Assyrians. The Mars Battle Tank takes damage. (Sorry I didn't break parts off for this.) Also, more Assyrians die too.
That ends turn five.

Overview shot.

Well my standard infantry are cannon fodder. But the 45th is actually faring pretty well. Natalya's star commando's were her reserve forces and she had to call them in because most of reg soldiers facing me were dead (I forget if Natalya was taking her dead off the field to less clutter it up). My reserve forces were just brought in now, with 3 fresh squads of marines with heavier weapons & armor, with an APC to the north.

That was punishment for using 'there' instead of 'they're'. How could you have mistaken there for they're?

I don't want racism in my thread anyway so you can fuck off.
@ Assyrian vs 45th Union losses and stuff...
Okay the pictures tend to cover my sutff more, so you don't see as many pictures of my guys getting killed, but if you look at the pic before the 3 Star Commandos get owned, you'll see that on the side of the field of me vs RoC I only have 4 of my orange soldiers left. That should say something about what's going on over there. I'm delivering huge losses to RoC, but now he has his reserve units on the field and my forces have been whittled down considerably.

Turn 6 -- The Vol

The Vol fighter does damage to the Assyrians' Light Gunboat.

Vol ground forces move up to meet the advancing Assyrians now that their ranks have been considerably thinned. Only a handful of them have survived to Turn 6. (This is many hours into the game.)
Assyrian Star Empire

I have no idea what's going on here. But it looks like my hard suit and MBT did 3 points of damage to that 45th Union tank. That's all I've got. It was past midnight at this point. (Remember that Round 1 took place on the same day.) I appear to have skipped the 45th Union, and all other action for my turn... From this point on turns become increasingly fragmented in terms of pictures being taken. Sorry about that but it was a LONG day lol. I do have more pictures though, so this thread isn't over yet.
