Hiya people! It's me Zahru, unfortunately, I've forgotten my password, so I made this new account. And with from my new account, I bring you a fresh, juicy, medieval massacre which I had yesterday with a friend of mine.
Image
Ze battlefield. Some plantations as scenery.
Warring sides were:
Image
Ork warhorde, led by a fearsome warlock.
14 warriors, 7 archer, 1 troll
Image
Human army (I was with them), led by a mage. 7swordsmen, 7 pikemen, 7 pistoliers, 1 mortar team (shortrange explosive launcher operated by a dwarf).

Image
The objective was securing the monolith in the middle with a mage.
Image
Both armies move into positions...
Image
... and clash: the first victim is a swordsman.
Image
In return, the mortar fires and blasts 4 orks to smithereens (or how is that spelled).
Image
The pistoliers shot down an ork.
Image
The orks fill their ranks and slay 2 swordsmen.
Image
The archers shoot down the knight officer of the swordsmen squad, while the troll join the others and kill a pikeman.
Image
Overview.
Image
Swordsmen kill an orc, while the human mage casts a fireball into the archer. It's not enough to kill any, but knocks over a few.
Image
Turning point: the ork warlock succeeds in summoning a sorcerous demon!
Image
The demon flicks his clawy finger...
Image
...and annihilates the human mage.
Image
The human's can't complete their objective, so they make it impossible for the orks: the mortar blows up the monolith. A new objective is given: Last man standing!
Image
However, the cowardly humans withdraw.
Image
The demon melts the mortar crews face, thus killing them.
Image
The enraged warlock casts a bolt of magical energy into the pistoliers, killing 3 of them before they fled.
Image
The orks are victorious! Waaagh!

cool well everything. the only ways it could be better I see are a bigger monolith, less squad combat and obviously less cowardice.

Mortar crew should have aimed for the Demon's eye or the warlock.

The objective was: capture the monolith. The humans failed to get it, and that was the best that they could do. If the can't afford it, don't let your enemy to use it against you.

That ending picture is epic. Must have been the first time I saw orks winning a battle.
