The Wizard’s Keep

A strange keep sat on a cluttered valley. In the keep lived a mysterious wizard. It was rumored that many treasures lay within.

Image

Asstan, his bride, and his band of merry thieves decide to make those treasures theirs. A creepy undead mummy guy caught wind of this, and showed up to ruin his day. Even the ostriches look on with great discomfort.

The battle is joined, and it sure looks like the day is to be ruined.

The undead begin to slice through Astan’s thieves like so much butter with such and such proverbial hot knives. Oh noes! Allofasudden, the Mummy King is slain! The photographer spaces, and this awesome event goes uncaptured! The wizard is, however, mightily pleased, as he gets a fantastic view of the mayhem. The mummy’s royal undead zombie guard, infuriated by the ignominious demise of their master, slaughter the last of the thieving bandits at the doorstep of the wizard’s keep. A mysteriously better camera captures some of the action.

Image

Suddenly, a great cry of pure agony is let loose upon the battlefield as Asstan notices his fair bride has taken a fatal blow to the head! Unsettled by the display of raw minifig emotion, the on-hand news team also fails to capture this on camera. But Asstan leaps into the fray, slaying two skeletons in a single turn, and this act of revenge is indeed righteously documented.

Unfortunately, at this juncture, Asstan looked nervously over both shoulders to find that only he remained to defeat the undead horde, and thereafter storm the wizard’s keep. Not bloody likely. He’s cut down post haste by the last few Death Knights and sundry skeletons. Evil appears poised to take the treasures of the keep, until the wizard casts a lighting bolt that fries all standing minifigs on the field.

A good time was had by all, especially the wizard who had a really most excellent vantage point to witness the whole shindig, as you may recall from the above photo.

Nostalgic photo of King Mummy's graduating class. He was such a promising student, and was voted most likely to raid the wizard's keep. Such a tragic ending for such a promising young mummy.

Undead on Ostrichback, how undignified.

Not bad, would have been better if you had remembered to take some more photos but that'll come with practice. Nice army.

FYI: I think you may attract some forum heat for...
