I am campaigning this weekend. as I type, actually. Tomorrow I start uploading the story of a crashed ship on a planet with a secret....

(I'm at my lakehouse, got my army, my ridiculous lake figs, and plenty of buildings, plus my camera. Felt like doing a campaign. This is obviously a promo. Each round's survivors come together in a later big round to help in defending the base, while my enemies who live to fight another day do similar. )

A Wanderer coalition with an allied general on board has a sudden crash landing on a planet of myth- and in trying to escape, finds something they'd never expect.....

Yay! sounds cool, and sounds plot-filled... my favorite type of battle. Looking forward to it!

OVERVIEW!



A crashed ship....



Three heroes lead the men....




An abandoned city...



A strange device...



An unfortunate landing....



A secret waits behind the gates...

Prepare for the dangers of F3Li%...

gate looks cool, and the ruined buildings are nice. it would be better if there were baseplates under stuff (I know, how Pesgores of me) because the whole couch thing kinda ruins the mood. Anyway, I'm sure this feeling will dissapear as soon as I actually see the battle stuff

ROUND 1


First Contact




The TechnoUnion is sent to scout the nearby town for signs of life...



Sir Borjum: I've got the payment. The target is the Amazons. I suppose your weapon will have no trouble handling those bitches?

?:It won't be trouble at all....



SIR! Unidentified squad incoming!



SB: What? You said we would be safe here!

?: I did not expect a random search. Besides, I have the payment. Your target will be attacked.



SB: Fine. You'd better go. My men and I can handle these fools. MEN! TO YOUR POSTS!



Admiral Trapbar: Sir, !

Office Wizard: Oh good. I wanted a fight.



The round begins with them crashing through the town gate. Many bail.



Sir Borjum loads the cannon, whilst his man climbs down the vines.



And Borjum Crit fails. First badguy=First death!



Tower damage.



A man runs out to attack the scout vehicle...



But faces heavy response fire.



Two men move a vehicle thingy forward, and build a saferoom, which they then enter.



The men flank the room.



Bomber1 throws a bomb up top...



And crit triggers both of them.



The vehicle is blown back, and the vine clinger is roasted.



Realizing this fight isn't worth it, the two remaining survivors flee with the mystery man...



WANDERER VICTORY!

The driver and vehicle survived as well. Wander casualties= 1!

wanderers are looking pretty badass, nice designs. love the guy in the middle in the last pic.

Heh, wait till the battle between the Amazons and the Flamethrower squad....

ROUND 2:

BRAWLSOLEUM



The Black Hand officer's private pod lands in a graveyard.


His men are ready for action...



But so are various undead! The one with the snape-face+pack is a hero lich.
TURN 1


Skeletons suck at throwing spears.



A flame ghost successfully packs a little more punch.



The necromancer gets to work on the officer's pod...



The men deploy and move to the best positions for shootin.



The skeleton and Ghoul fall. The armor demon takes damage.



The officer tries to break out-



But instead rolls a 1, making his task a little harder.

Moar death.



Worst of all- The enemies have reanimated The Black Hand's dead!



A shot-



With deadly consequences!



Werewolf died too, for 1 rolling.



Pretty soon, the enemies are almost all cleared out.



The last man falls, and it's victory!



But what's this? Oh noes! The triceratops wants to avenge his master's death! He's pushing the officer off a cliff!



Run to the rescue!



A one is rolled.



But the other's damage is more than enough. WANDERER VICTORY!

Casualties: 3!

Damn, that was good! I demand a Forum Battle!

ROUND 3: PROTECT AND SEVER
Back at base...


The Technos jump all over the prospect of looted weapons...



The Officer contemplates his dead.



Then, a banner carrier reports something on the horizon!



A truck filled with locals!



Captain Clawde: Hallo! Nice base ya got here.

The Left Hand: Yes. It is. Now why are you here?

General Dante: Now, commander- let's not be rude to this guest.



CC:Yeah. I don't like rudeness. Makes me angry. Like I might hurt sombudy.



GD: Was that a threat?

CC: So what if it was?

GD: I'm afraid I must ask you to leave.

CC: Well I'm afraid I can't do that.

GD: Do not push me to use force!

CC: OH YEAH?!




A fight begins.



The car jumps the wall.



Dante eliminates Clawde.




A ruffian is killed by the banner carrier.




More ruffians fall, taking a strategic squad member with them.



Tex and his men join the fray.



More Killing! (I think the banner dude's still alive.)



The mysterious man once again makes a break for it.



One of Tex's cowboys, Slick, dies.



Few ruffians are left!



AND THEY ARE REALLY BAD WITH DAMAGE.



That's about the last of em.



TLH places the general in the "Sick Bay"

GD: I'm fine, I'm fine! Just let me get up so we can take the..

TLH: General, with all due respect- You're bleeding everywhere. There is no fucking way I am letting you fight.



Medic: I got him.



Right! Troops-Attention. This attack will not go unpunished. Intel reports of a group on a mesa nearby that may have intel as to the whereabouts of the man who has repeatedly run.




I call on you, flamers, to go check out that base.



In the meantime, we will regroup and prepare for any future assaults.
